The Island of Dr. Moreau is a shop in the B/C Pets forum based on the novel by the same name.

The premise is that people are taken to this island and injected with serum; they then begin to transform into anthros of whichever animal the serum was based.

Description - Shiny black upper body, white striped bands on the legs, normally brown but sometimes bluish or even indigo-ish abdomen (going for indigo here)

Sydney Funnel-webs are considered one of the most deadly spiders in the world.





From Wikipedia:

"These spiders construct a funnel shaped web and lurk for prey in the small end of the funnel. They frequently search for a place to nest under human dwellings, or under nearby rocks, logs, or other similar objects. They are most active at night. They are not extremely large, the largest being about 40 mm (1.5 inches) long, but they often bite aggressively and repeatedly. While some very venomous spiders frequently give dry bites, the venomous funnel-web spiders do so much less frequently. Most bites seem to occur when the male spiders wander about looking for receptive female of their kind for mating during the warmer months of the year. Male spiders are often found in swimming pools, yards, and garages.

It is said that these spiders are unable to climb well because of their bodyweight. However they can move quickly across the ground.

Although they are rather small compared to the true tarantulas, they should not be handled without taking substantial precautions because their fangs have been known to penetrate fingernails and soft shoes, resulting in dangerous bites."

My hopes for his changes:

0% - Dressed for a night of partying, Aiden wears black boots, tight black slacks, and a shiny purple tanktop. His hair is spiked out and shining with gel, especially the purple tips. He has two hoops in each earlobe and sports a cocky smirk, because he knows he's the s**t.

25% - Aiden has cast aside the clubbing clothes for something a little more manageable; purple jeans, the same black boots, and a black tanktop. The tanktop has two small slits on each side to allow the little buds growing out that will become his extra limbs, though he does not know this now. His hips and abdomen have grown a little wider. There is some hair growth on his body, his arms and legs are hairier as well as some other regions that he's care not to show or mention. The hair on his head is a little longer as well and he does not bother to spike it now; the purple on the tips is fading a bit. He carries a look of annoyance; missing his old life and disliking what this is doing to his features.

50% - The hair on his head has started falling out now; there is still a bit of it left at this point and it looks mohawk-ish. His body is hairier though not complete cover yet. His spine has started to twist and his abdomen lengthen, so that his backside juts out some. The extra limbs have grown to be half the length of his arms. He has opted for black shorts at this point to allow for more movement with his new posture. He opts for a purple sleeveless top and goes shoeless, his toes having grown both together and pointed. He has abandoned the hoops in his ears. He affects a look of worry and self loathing.
