Quirking a brow at Cirrus as he stood up as well, tossing his own bottle into the trash from where he stood he smiled at her. Oh she was a minx and she knew it, well at least she had some personality and wasn't all shyness and sweetness. Shaking his head he came out from behind the table and around to Cirrus's side.
"Well if I'm a Mister, does that imply that I'm a gentleman?" Giving her a sardonic look. "You know any good places to eat, or are we gonna just wonder around and get lost?" He started walking towards the entrance, not standing too close to her, wasn't one to push himself on a girl.

"I haven't decided yet," she said giving him a sideways glance as they started towards the gate. "As for places to eat.... I really haven't been here that long and haven't had a lot of time to explore. So I opt for wandering around and getting lost."
She glanced at him again. He was tall and had nice muscles. The way he carried himself with confidence and gentleness allowed her to relax despite the butterflies in her stomach. She hoped they did get lost together and that she would get to spend the rest of the day getting to know him.

He smiled down at her, and he had the sudden urge to wrap his arms around her waist, but again resisted it. She was such a slight thing and so very female, it was a nice change from most of the guys he had met thus far. The only two other girls' he had met around here were Ceara and Akina. Ceara was a bit boyish and sacrastic, he liked her, and then there was Akina. He wondered where she had wondered off to.
"Well then lets go get lost ma'am." He offered his arm at that point, not being able to resist, he wasn't sure what it was about her that put him in the mood to talk and be personable. He would say she reminded him of Laurel, but not quite, there was something else. He couldn't figure it out so he just ignored it.

She nearly melted at his charming response and gentlemanly gesture. She slipped her small hand around his strong arm and the butterflies started doing somersaults. She would admit to herself that the similarities between Kade and Kayne were uncanny, but there was something about him... just a certain something that made him very different from Kayne. Taking a step closer, she could feel the heat from his arm and she fought the urge to rest her head on his shoulder. Though she was quite sure it would be a comfortable fit.

It was weird having a girl so close to him, it had been some time, and the last time it had been Laurel, and this was significantly differnt. The softness of her hand on his arm, the warmth of her so close to him, it was nice. He concioulsy shortened his longer stride so that they walked evenly side by side, so she didn't have to overstep her normal gate.
Everything about being right here right now gave him of all the things he would have liked in his life, both for himself and those he cared about. Easy nature, calm hearts, why had it been so hard back in California. The thought of the place brought a frown to his face, one that had not been there for some time. It seemed she also brougt about thinking, and maybe that wasn't a bad thing but he didn't wanna think about those things not now, not when he was in such a light mood.
Guiding them away from Aquilla, out the gates and down the road, he kept her to the inside, away from the curb. He sometimes wandered where he had learned to be so gentlemanly, it had to have been his pop's dad, that had been a while ago, but somethings didn't seem to fade. He smiled at the thought of his Pop.
Looking back down at her he smiled. "So what are you in the mood for lady?"

Cirrus knew that she would remember this day for a long time. The sun was out and gorgeous. She was out amongst a culture she was quickly falling in love with, and she was in wonderful company. She was glad she had made a successful escape, otherwise they may not have crossed paths and found such an easy friendship. She could feel his skin under her palm and it drew her eyes to the connection. It was a small, innocent touch but it was easy for her to memorize the way his muscles bunched under her fingertips and the warmth from his skin.
"I don't know. I've never really had sushi before. Would you like to give it a try?" she asked turning her face up to him.

He smiled lightly at people as they passed them, most of them smiled back some of them though just looked at him like he was either scary or just weird, which just made him smile more. The people here were of two sorts, either very helpful and nice, or a bit wary of his obvious American nature. He just smiled at one and shrugged off the other. He didn't care at this point, on a beautiful day like today, he and Cirrus couldn't be disturbed.
Looking down at her words he smiled at her. "You know you read my mind, I've been thinking about trying it for some time, should be interesting, real japanese Sushi." He drew them aside away from the crowd for a moment and looked around for some indication of where they could find some sushi. "You see anything?"

Cirrus grinned as Kade pulled her to one side of the sidewalk near a building and started to look around. The first thing she had learned on her only other outing off of campus was that nothing appeared to be what it was and that kanji was not at all helpful in deciphering shop names. Still grinning at Kayne, she pulled her hand away and approached an older Japanese woman.
"Sumimasen, ichiban no... chikai sushiya wa... doko desu ka?" she said, stumbling slightly on the foreign language. She knew she was no expert, but she was quite proud of the fact that learning languages came really easy to her. She listened to the other woman... not fully understanding everything she was saying, but with quite a bit of gesturing and patience, Cirrus was able to get directions to a sushi restaurant. Cirrus bowed deeply saying, "Domo arigato."
Cirrus walked back to Kade with a warm smile. "I've found somewhere we can go," she said, slipping her arm around his.

Watching Cirrus approach a little woman and ask for directions to a sushi place, or atleast he assumed that was what she was doing, He smiled. She was an impressive lady, with every turn she was unfolding before him just a little more. A beautiful flower that had the promise of granduer.
As she came back to him he smiled at her and letting her resume her form place, he pulled her a little closer to him and squeezed her hand. "Well My Lady, lead the way." He said gesturing through the crowd with his free hand. "Atleast now I know who I'm going to ask for tutoring in Japanese." His eyes laughed soflty down at her, not a joke, simply a laugh of enjoyment.

Cirrus's eyes shared Kade's laughter and her stomach did a few more excited flips as he pulled her closer to him. "And I would gladly tutor you if you'd like," she replied, leading him to the bright pink building the lady had told her about.

As they walked into the pink building Kade looked around; they could either sit at a table, or at the bar and watich the sushi being made. Kade made a decision, and found a table next to the bar, where they could see if they wanted, but where they could have a more personal conversation. He guided her to the seat and pulled out the chair with its back to the entrance. Smiling at her he gestured at the seat.
"Ladies first." He said with a wink. "I'm afraid you are proroably going to have to order for me, until we start our tutoring." He said with a slightly apologetic smile.
His eyes flitted around the room unconciously, taking in the number of people in proximatey to them. They quickest way to the exit, and the number of exits. It was something he had done all his life, especially in California, and it would probalby never leave him. Smiling back at Cirrus, subconcious satisfied, he waited for her to take the seat/

Cirrus watched Kade's hesitation after he had pulled out her seat with interest. His eyes darted around the restaurant, then landed back on her. Her curiosity was piqued, but instead of asking him about it, she slid easily into the offered seat.
Almost immediately the waitress arrived with a cheery greeting and set menus in kanji and a valiant effort at English down on the tables. She flitted back off to the kitchen, and Cirrus smiled at Kade.
"Well... it appears you may be able to decide what you want for yourself," she grinned. "But I'll be more than happy to tutor you now on how to order." She gave him a small shrug with her slender shoulder and picked up her menu.

Kade smiled at the waitress brought them meuns and then took his seat infront of Cirrus, facing the entrance of the resteraunt. Smiling across the table at Cirrus he glanced down at the menu and then back up at her. "I would love a lesson in ordering Sensei." He said crossing his arms over his menuing and looking straight at her. More than likely he would just get what she was getting becuase he wasn't really sure on what all of it was, nevering having sushi he was willing to try anything, but would rather try something that some one else knew what its contents was. Smiling at that thought, he relaxed a bit. It was hard in such a crowded confined area, but he knew nothing was going to happen here, he just had to keep telling himself that.
He had been out a few times to town, but he had never been with any one, and especially not a girl, and it made a difference. He had some one he had to keep an eye on, to protect, and that made a difference, in more ways than one. His smile softened again as he looked at Cirrus, he couldn't help it.
"So what are you gonna get?" he asked glancing down at menu under his arms.

Cirrus loved his smile. She literally had to force herself to look down at her menu. She could sense that he wasn't too sure about himself here, his confidence had changed slightly. That was okay though. She could play the part Sensei and help him relax and understand the culture a little better. She quickly found exactly what she had been hoping to find. Smiling again, she looked back up at Kade.
"Okay... When the waitress comes back tell her: Ju-shi o kudasai," Cirrus instructed, noting out of the corner of her eye that the waitress was on her way back to them.

He gave her a thumbs up and a wink as the waitress came to their table. He gave the woman a polite smile. "Ju-shi o kudasai." He said, stumbling slightly over the words, and they sound far differnt from how Cirrus said it, but the waitress nodded and smiled and went back the way she had come.
"Okay so what did I just say?" He asked turning back to Cirrus with a bemused smile. He suddenly caugth himself looking at a younger man who had just walked in with a few of his buddies. A defenseive reaction was to stare them down and make sure they knew who not to mess with. Kade finally realized what he was doing and he knew he needed to stop. He was not in America he was not in California.
No. He was in Japan enjoying a wonderful lunch with a wonderful Lady, and there was no one here that was going to randomly start a fight. He told his shoulders to relax, his leg muscles to relax, and he turned his full attention back on Cirrus.
