Mendez turned to the SPARTAN and brushed past the group. "Go ahead, I'll catch up with you." He went over to him and Saluted. "Sir, Any Idea on what's happening on the surface? If possible, I want to go back down."

The SPARTAN, having recieved his orders several seconds ago, was already planning on his actions during this 'last mission', and was about to head out when the Marine spoke to him. "Consider yourself a volunteer, then. Everything and everyone on the surface is about to be completely destroyed, and you're going to be one of the few who's going to cause it. Head to the port-side launch bay immediately and board the docked Pelican Victor 923. That's our ride."

Michael turned from the group and moved after Mendez, saluting the SPARTAN with him. His gazed trailed the armor but they broke off as he heard Mendez speak. And as he did he did too, "And blow that ring to pieces. I want to pay those bastards back for what they ddi to my men."

He looked over at the second Marine briefly, before nodding and gesturing for him and the first to follow him as he spoke. "Good, then you're both with me. You won't be needing weapons for this one, just your helmts and the ability to survive in an evacuated atmosphere." Not wanting to waste any time, he quickly walked out of the Armory, knowing the two would follow him as he headed off to the Port-side Launch Bay.

Michael watched the SPARTAN walk out of the armory. His eyes were trained on him until he was out of site. His pistol layed in his hands for a second where he loaded the gun and set in in the back of his waistbelt, hidden from all view. He then grabbed his helmet and sealed it on his suit quickly running to the Port Bay.

Gunnery Sergent Bisenti would have volenteered, but had been given strict orders to take it easy. So as the crowd at the firing range dispersed, he sat on his empty ammo box in silent contemplation. He should have went with them. He should have said something...He should.. Thousands of such thoughts running through his mind like a freight train, all on thoughts of what he should have. He did this now instead of later, knowing that later could mean more or his men's lives.

*A slender female entered wareing a pilots uniform with sargents strips on one arm. Linda ignored the cheering men and gave a nod to the SPARTAN. She grabes an assult rifle from on the rack and sighted down the targets at the end of the of the room, snapping of a short burts then two.*

After a few minutes had gone by the door opened once more, as Henop made his way towards the weapons rack. He glanced up slightly harboring a .50 caliber sniper rifle, and one magizine in his hand.
He set the rifle onto its respectful position before making a motion for four targets to be sent down. With a slight nod the targets were sent and he slide the magizine in place already looking down the scope, before switching off the safty.
"Four rounds...First target...head...", he muttered softly to himself as he gently pulled the triggler allowing the loud ring to bellow forth. A light smirk came to his face as he saw the target jerk suddenly, he then moved to the next one not even seeming to actually aim though as he fired.
"Second target, neck.", he spoke once more as he continued down the line firing off the last two shots in the clip, "Third target, head. Final target, head."
As the smoke continued to lift from the barrel he nodded signaling he was done, and ready to view his targets. As he could the mechanical click and the motor begin to run he flipped the safty on the rifle to safe. He stood by patiantly putting the empty magizine next to the rifle.
"Please...tell me what if I hit...and the targets please...", he said in a soft tone as he looked over at the person getting his targets.
With a slight nod they recited what he head hit, "Target one, headshot. Target two, throat. Target three and target four, headshots.", the said as Henop lifted the rifle once more and moved over towards the weapons rack making sure to tell someone that it was fired and needs to be cleaned.
He then shook his head slightly and moved over to where the assult rifles were, "Alright...never was very good with this..."
Gingerly he lifted his hand and placed his hands on the Battle Rifle, before moving his hand over and grabbing a magizine of .556 caliber rounds. With a soft sigh he moved over to the firing range again, and signaled with his right hand he wanted one target. He watched as the target moved down range and when it had finaly come to a stop, he began to fire.
Each time he pulled the trigger a burst of three rounds would spill forth, he continued this grumbling slightly about the need to aim until he had emptied the thirty-two round clip.

Pvt. Micheal Cross entered the Firing Range. He walked past other marines practicing with his rifle on his shoulder and a box of ammunition under his left arm.He set the box down on the table part of the booth. He loaded his rifle and hit the start button.

A target came zinging out of the darkness and Cross aimed at the target with his MA5B Assault Rifle and began firing. His shots were as accurate as his rifle let him to be.He didn't necessarily like his present rifle because they were know for quantity not quality shots. But Cross had been able to keep it in a general circle. He did this again with a few more targets and a waste of five clips. He sat down with his rifle and began to take it apart for cleaning.Once everything was in order he put it back together and walked back out.

Private Gabriel Altair had made his way down to the firing carrying a single M6D and three clips of ammunition. Taking his place in the farthest booth he would lay the clips down on the table, placing one in his magnum before pressing the activation button on the range, waiting for the target to slide back a fair distance before he took aim, placing the bullet through the paper target's throat, then correcting his shot to put the second round through the target's face, then turning to his right he pressed the return button, examining the shot when the target was in range. Impressed with his skills around the gun. Drawing back he pulled the gun once more and pressed the activation button for moving targets, watching as the first two moved past he took a shot, burning through the arm of one and the chest of the second with one round, then taking the second shot and watching, the bullet passed through the head of the 'injured' target.

Thinking upon it though, these targets were too easy, and never adjusted or took cover as humans would. Slowly he began to miss the simulations run on planetary bases, with the targets that took cover or held 'hostages'. There were also the live sims with other marines, but, as things were, he was still boarded on the TITAN and there he would remain until mobilized.

Norijitsu
(Processing weapons data)

A relatively small portion of the massive Titan was converted into a firing range near the Armory, with the entire area being encased in a solid frame of steel to prevent some stray round from tearing a hole in the ship, which is thankfully impossible due to it being located deep within the ship's structure. The wasting of ammunition on the range is quite restricted due to the lack of pure resources, however, appropriate training is always allowed.

once again another SPARTAN entered the range, and saw other SPARTANS messing around with the Sniper Rifle. meh...i'd better show them how to work a Sniper...he thought. he was drawing strange looks from some of the crowd. not surprising, considering his armor was the new HAYABUSA class armor. Phoenix walked to the rack and selected a Sniper Rifle, disassembled it and cleaned it and reassembled it. he set the timer for 10 seconds and 10 targets. then he began. his rifle barked 4 times, for 5 kills, with the last bullet hitting two targets as they crossed paths. then he reloaded and repeated the process, downing the last 5 targets with four shots, each one a head shot. Phoenix expected nothing less than perfection from himself, which made his the best SPARTAN Sniper in the program. still not satisfied, he keyed for 10 more targets and put down his Sniper and pulled out his M6G Magnum. he began the timer, and dumped a full clip into the first 5 targets, he hit the clip release and loaded another clip before the first had even hit the ground, and then he finished off the rest of the targets in a similar manner. his acheivments drew applause form the other SPATANS and the Marines, eve a couple of Helljumpers nodded in approval. Phoenix then decided tho take it easy for a bit and went to mingle with the other SPATANS

Jonathan tripped into the room. He had meant to enter, but his body felt...well, new. Being injected with morphine for 7 hours can do that.

He looked at the various weapons, and went for SSRS99C Sniper Rifle. All the other men and women in the room were goofing off, including the SPARTANS, but Jonathan's goal wasn't to ******** off-he was trying to practice his arm.

Popping a clip in, he loaded the 'Sniper' Simulation. Instantly, he felt as if the room was different-rebels appeared inside off in the distance, and a man barked orders at him.

"Take out the targets! You only have one chance, so make it count recruit!" He subconsciously heard. He looked in on the holographic opponents, and decided to go take out the middle-the one's most deeply entrenched.

His finger squeezed the trigger. Instantly, one hologram dissipated. The others appeared startled, and Jonathan almost smiled as another one vaporized with a thud. The two other simulations, finally realizing what in the hell was going on, began to flee.

One fell and evaporated before hitting the floor-if this had been real war, their leg would be standing while they were felled. The final shot hit the man straight in the neck, and he flopped before finally sinking away. Jonathan stood up, the simulation now over.

A small '100% Accuracy' appeared in the corner of the simulation screen, but only fed the empty space. The rifle had already been replaced, and Jonathan was already on his way to the Mess Hall.
