Darkness Only
Loss of hope as shards of glass rip into my flesh.
The pain is nothing to the torture I've seen.
The last drop of blood spilling out on the floor,
my nitmarish reality hidden.
I cannot bare for my companions to feel my pain,
tearing them apart.
Their flesh being ripped to shreds by my inner demon.
Darkness only now...
I sit here waiting,
waiting for the breathing to stop.
Motionless my soul lays;
trapped forever in the cage of my flesh.
"Let it out, let it out... " the voices whisper softly.
Darkness only now...
The mind forsakes me,
my soul is gone,
I can share my pain no more!
Tenth floor is moving ever closer,
fifth is closer still.
Images of life flash before my eyes; birth, pain, and sorrow.
I quickly realize my dark deeds,
the sins I have commited.
The wind now whipping through my hair...
The ground and I are one....
Darkness forever now.....
