Why is all the bad guys so damn hot!!!!>_< Baralai rocked. 3nodding Kuja rocked too. 3nodding I absolutely HATED Shuyin. >.< He's nothing more than a Tidus clone. His story is even somewhat comparable to Tidus' aside from the fact that he died, and that Tidus actually came up with a way to protect his woman.

Look at the situation Shuyin was in. Yes, Tidus was dense, but still, pretty much anything that happened to Shuyin wouldn't have happened to him. Tidus always took matters into his own hands with his own ideas. He didn't want to try and steal anyone's machina or anything of the sort. Shuyin even got captured at one point. That alone says a lot for Shuyin's lack of fortitude under pressure compared to Tidus. neutral
