Christine was making her way through the tired halls of the residence building. It had been a rather quiet day, she had meandered off to check on Willemina. It had gone rather well, based on the fact that her poor creature was suffering a bout of mild depression. All she wanted to do was sleep and sigh.
It was still hard to watch.
Regardless, that was over for now and she would be more concerned upon her return. For now she simply wished to take in a quiet day without disruption.
But something caught her attention. Something she had not heard in some time.
Music.
Her ear turned sharply to the sound and she found herself slowly making her way towards it. Eventually she found herself standing in front of a door. Lifting her hand she rapped gently on the large wooden slab.
"Hello?"

Chris's footsteps reach Alva's ears a good share of seconds before it's followed by a gentle rapping on the door from the other woman. It seems lately like everything on this damned island has become twice as loud as she was accustomed to. It's probably the stress from Caligula's struggling progression and that encounter with Rowan getting to her head.
This noise is actually welcome, however. The Norsewoman quickly but gently lowers the instrument on its side on the floor, rising from the chair and picking her feet across the room to answer the door. It's opened with her one free hand- it seems that she instinctively keeps something in one hand at all times. This time it's the bow to her cello, thankfully, and not something that could be used for bodily harm- though she wouldn't ever think of striking the woman who's at the door!
"Ah, Chris... good afternoon," she greets pleasantly with a faint smile playing on her lips. Stepping aside to make room, she offers, "Would you like to come in? It has been quite a while since we could have a decent conversation."
