Or perhaps what he saw as 'great' couldn't be made to look bad in any way x3. Cheveyo gave a half-grin, "No one did, that's why I didn't tell anyone," he shrugged, "I didn't go to Haventree much before then anyway." He looked embarrassed, "I mean, you've...um...grown...nicely?"

"Oh... well it was an interesting stay there even without your presence." Mars ran a hand through her crazy hair, "Okay. I'm glad to see that you haven't grown up anymore, I've always wanted to be able to look at you without having to look up so high," Mars tested a small joke, the oddness of their situation was getting to her.

Cheveyo smirked, "I never found it easy to look down at someone who could flay my rear easily," he didn't seem to notice how wild she look, until he realized just what that might mean. He frowned. "So, you live in Haventree?"

Mars grinned widdly with his 'flank' comment, it was true - so long as he didn't run away. But as quick as she grinned, her lips thinned, not giving away her emotion, "No, I don't live in Haventree. Todd and I were only there for a couple of months."

Todd? Who the heck was Todd?! Of course, he knew nothing of the little deer. "Todd, huh?" Cheveyo said, nodding, "Well, where do you live now?" He hoped she had somewhere to stay, he didn't like the thought of her living out in the forest.

"Todd is my deer friend and he's back at the cave I've been living in. Why? Where are you living, if not Haventree nor the cervitaurs?" Mars looked confused, why would it even matter where she was... she was still wondering why he was looking for her. "Wait, and why have you been looking for me anyways?"

Cheveyo was relieved to hear that Todd wasn't another cervi. "I've been living where I've always lived," he said, nodding, then blinked and shuffled awkwardly, "I just wanted to see you, is all..."

Was it just her or did was he starting to look nervous? "Cheveyo, you just wanted to see me... why?" The cervi really wanted to rub her hands together, it had been so long since she had last seen her friend blush. But of course doing so visible would be beneath her.

"I..well...I...because...uh..." Cheveyo stumbled over the words, indeed looking rather embarrassed, "I guess I just...missed you," it was true enough, he had thought about her a lot, and had wanted to see her pretty badly.

Cheveyo suppressed a pleased grin, "I was away from the isles. Taking Elissia home..." she never got there, but he didn't want to upset himself. He rolled his shoulders, "I was heading...nowhere in particular. Walk with me?"

Mars only hesitated a moment, wondering what Todd would do when he woke up to an empty cave. He'll be alright, I've been away longer then this before, she reminded herself before nodding to Cheveyo. "So you just wanted to get away from the isles? I didn't know this was such a boring place for you," she ended her comments with a slight smirk.

Mars walked besides him, just letting him lead. "Now what do you mean by that? Is this place really to restless for a cervi like yourself?" Sure, sometimes there was nothing to do, no one to fight, and no one to protect, but those days made the fight worth all the risks.

"I guess you could say...I'm way to curious for my own good. I wanted to see other places. ANY other places. But I think I'm passed that now..." he trailed off there, not sure as to where they were headed. It didn't matter.
