You're going to Europe?!
Practically diving to save the glass she drop, Lily gave a sigh of relief as she set the glass on the table. “Aren’t I graceful?” Chuckling slightly, she poured Ivy a glass of orange juice. “So, how have you been lately? The kids?” Lily questioned as she sat on the other side of Ivy.
Ivy had just got back from a small trip to Europe that she had went on to visit colleges. “It was good and the kids are the same...” Quieter then usual, Ivy took a small sip from her glass and looked up at Lily. “I’m gonna get start to the point... I was excepted into a college there.” Lily practically knocked Ivy off the couch with her happy hug.
“That’s so great!” As she cheered, Lily thought about the fact it was in Europe. ‘I really need to become less dense.’ “So... That means you’re moving to England, right? When? Are you going to come back?” Sadden a bit by this turn of events, Lily hadn’t expected her good friend to move so suddenly. It wasn’t like her, but then again, this was for college.
Ivy sighed, swishing her juice in circles as she stared at it. “Actually, that’s what I really came to talk about. When I took the kids to England with him... Well... Kayin didn’t fit very well in Europe. Every where went had either a relic or holy area that wasn’t on a map. He had so many problems just walking to the market with me. I can’t very well turn down the college... I mean... It’s a good college.
“But I don’t want Kayin to have his punishment flaring up every time we go out. I don’t want to hurt him like that... I in a slight dead end.” Pausing to talk another sip of her drink, Ivy finally looked up at Lily while she was speaking, “I talked to Enoh and Eph and they agreed that it was best for him to stay here and I was wondering if you could watch him... It may be long term, too..."
Lily was a bit taken bit by the blunt statement. Thinking for a minute, she began mummbling, "Well... I have Toxic... Luca... How would... Maybe... Um... I have no clue... It's so sudden, Ivy. I guess I can... I'd need supplies and clothes and stuff." Ivy nodded quickly, pulling Lily into a tight hug.
"Thanks so much! I don't know who I would have turned to that I knew was good with kids." Lily sighed. She had just excepted responsible for another kid. Great all she needed. They arranged a time and date for everything and it was set. Lily was now Kayin's parent.
