I went to a few in 2004. I probably won't go again for a bit longer though.

I have never been.
Although, I've always wanted to. I can only imagine the sights and sounds (and perhaps, smells?) of an anime convention.

Try NOT to imagine the smells... I have been to the venerable Sakura-Con as well. Every year since '99. Cosplaying is almost the main reason for me to go at this point. This year I wore last years costume and didn't enter the cosplay contest and I was bored for most of Saturday.

The last convention I went to was Anime Weekend Atlanta with onikage in 2004.
I will never look at cons the same again. -_-;;
Probably going to make a stop at Kumoricon since it's in town.
But other than that, I stray far from American cons. 8D
