"Why? You're right here," She wasn't going to snap out of it, soon. Her pace quickened slightly, as she followed the girl. Her own friend was in danger... from her!
"Aww, leaving so soon? I was going to invite you to lunch..." She snickered, and looked at the tree. One, two, three steps, she was climbing.
"Monkeys aren't the only things that can climb, my pet."

"Umm Do you mean Invite me or make me your lunch." Aurora climbes a little higher though this tree was not very tall. though at the moment it seemed to get shorter and shorter as Evan climbed up it.
She can climb trees. Aurora thought as she tried to think up some thing to do. to save her own skin.
"Goody you can Climb Trees." Citting her lower lip Aurora climbed a little lower so that she was close to Evan and then letting her inner monkey out she tried to scrach Evans face.

Evan let out a growl as Aurora's nails made contact. They scratched her nose. She was too preoccupied with rubbing it, that she didn't notice her grip was loose. She growled and looked up at the monkey-girl.
"You will pay for that." She went to climb, but her grip slipped completely, and her eyes widened as she tumbled all the way down.
With a thud, she landed, and shook her head. Evan was in control again, she realised what she was trying to do, and jumped to her feet.
"Oh.. I'm sorry!" She yelled up, hoping Aurora heard her.

Aurora was still holdingon to the trunk of the tree she had not moved since she had scrached Evan. She wanted to grab Evan befor she fell but every thing had happened so fast that Aurora had not gotten a chance to put her hand out.
"Sorry." Aurora said as she noticed Evan on her feet.
She then herd Evan Say she was worry but it did not help the fact Aurora still felt a little embarised for hurting her friend.
She started to climb down cautiously. "I am sorry I attacked you Evan?" she was now on the ground. "But I thought you were about ot eat me."

She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly.
"Well... heh... I was..." She sat, and licked her nose. She felt bad, now, for trying to hunt her own friend.
"I'm a monster..." She frowned, and turned. Walking away with a limp.
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to do that..."

"You are no monster." Aurora siad softly she was calming down now. "You can't be a monester because.." Aurora stopped she had fighure out what was the best way to say what she thougt.
She had not relised that Evan was limping away before she had it figured out Aurora ran over and stood infront of Evan there were tears in her eyes. "Because I know you are not a monster the thing that is inside you may be be but you can fight that." she tried to look in to Evans grey eyes as she spoke

Evan grunted as she stopped, she must have hurt one of her back legs. Her semi-human features looked at Aurora, she too was on the brink of tears.
"I have been fighting it. I can't beat it, all I can do is hold it back... You just saw what happens when it gets so much as an inch of slack, I could have hurt you, Aur... I'd never forgive myself if I was the cause of your pain..." She sulked, her head tilting down.
Her hair fell over her eyes, thankfully hiding away the tears running slowly down her furred face.
"I can't hold it back forever..."

"Who says you can not beat it Evan?" Aurora carefully Put her hand over her own healed wound. "I never thought that I would be able to get over the fact that I had no memory but you told me that it was not my fault that I can not remember." She sighed.
"So I decided if I can not remember the past I should tresure memories that I have now." Aurora could not help but crying it had taken a lot out of her but she still would not give up. "You are my Friend Evan and nothing can change that not even that beast with in you,"

Evan sighed, and her tail flicking lightly. She was bummed out, in a bad way. Even Aurora trying to assure her it wasn't her fault, didn't work.
She wouldn't hear of it. It was her fault.
"Aurora, I... *sigh* I'm sorry..."

Aurora Sighed she had a fealing that she had not done any good. "It is ok YOu did not hurt you actually I am the one that hurt you and because I hurt you you fell to the ground." Aurora scrached the back of her neck with her black clowed hand.
"Anyway I need to get some excersise, I mean if I slow down then I am doomed to be some ones meal. I do not know whos but I know it will not be you." Sunny smiled she could always look at things in a postive light it was some thing that shad had been always good at. "Can I help you walk back to the village it looks like you hurt your leg."

Evan couldn't help but chuckle. Sunny didn't have to worry about her for another day or so.
"No, I think I'll be okay... I think I just landed on it wrong," she poked the foot with a clawed hand, and smiled up at Aurora, although she still felt bad. She just wanted to hide it, so she wouldn't bum anyone out.
"You should get some excercise then, if you think you need it."

Aurora could not help but to giggle. "It seems that not all animals are able to land on there feet feet 100% of the time. I know I have fallen a few times but then when we fall we must always get back on our feet and try agen except when you are trying to eat me." she shook her head. "Do not try again."
I finialy got her to chuckle. Aurora thought
"Well you almost cought me today, so I guess I must excercise more or else you will catch me."

Aurora smiled. "And I promise to Stay your friend though thick and thin. I mean friends got to stick together or else.." she looked off in to the distance. Her tail moved this way and that as she spoke but stopped as she looked in to the sky.
"We may change how we look on the outside and may have some thing weird trying to take over inside of us but what is in your heart will never change."

Evan's attention was caught by the tail moving, for a moment there. But she snapped back to attention when Aurora spoke.
"Yeah... Through thick, thin, and attempted dinners!" She laughed, now. Now she was feeling better.
Inside though, the Fossa was furious. It wanted food, damnit, and she wasn't using this advantage and snagging the open opportunity.
No matter. It would have its chance again, and it would NOT let her interfere.
