Bree didn't even give a second glance to the wreckage of the house, her own room consisted of various artifacts and other such collections she didn't feel like having out of her sight... And with everthing she collected the concept of a floor was nonexistant.
She casually slipped through everything, magically finding a place to step without stepping on something. Another bonus to having your favorite items cluttering your floor was you made sure never to step on them. Once she made it to the promised bathroom she shut herself inside, immediatly falling against the door as if to barracade everythign else out... She wasn't ashamed of her behaviors persay... However, a toddler knowing about such a thing was a completely different story. What if he started asking questions? She might get arrested for child molestation!

Simon raised a brow at the scratching critter, he stayed silent for a moment... Gave a glance around the yard, then let out a sigh. "This is boring." He announced, rubbing the back of his head and glancing expectantly to the toddler to provide some sort of entertainment.

The little unicorn turned his attention slowly back to the older boy, still itching unconsciously at his forearms. "Inside's fun," he chirped happily. "Jus' no'Michael." He frowned slightly in consideration, slowly dropping his hands away from his arms in order to peer about the yard.

"We c'n climb on stuff." Abruptly, Etain motioned to a pile of clutter that sat stashed on the side of the house. It was probably a bunch of old furniture they were trying to get rid or something to that effect. Whatever it was, Tovar had never been too keen on letting him on it. But Etain sort of wanted to see what it was...

"Sides, Lev'd knock stuff over inside. Too much stuff."

Simon blinked, peering to the clutter stash. He wasn't too good at climbing... Buthell if he'd mention that, or back down from a challenge. Forget the fact that it was a toddler, and wasn't even a challenge. "Allright. Lets go." he gave a wave to Lev as well, urging him to follow.

Lev blinked, knock stuff over? But he was such a slim and nimble dragon! He gave a tiny noise, almost sounding like a 'hey' before he followed Simon towards the junkpile.

Etain nodded, smiling brightly as he waddled toward the junk heap. There were some cool looking things in there, like bits of wood and pieces of stuff that was probably potentially sharp, pointy and dangerous -- not that Etain noticed that sort of things. Lots of it would probably make a good house, though. A giant fortress of junk! The idea was strangely appealing...

Reaching the hill of refuse, Etain gripped what looked like an old metal pipe sticking up at an angle from the heap, hauling himself up onto a crackling sheet of wood. It really would make a good fortress.

Michael rarely ventured downstairs, but he'd gotten rather hungry and without Tovar around to snap at it seemed he was going to be stuck getting his own snacks. Unfortunately, he managed to catch a certain young woman darting to the bathroom from the corner of his eye. He would have been perfectly happy to get a few crackers and be on with his day, but...--well, he was a mage; he was entitled to a bit of innocent curiosity now and again, especially since Tovar wasn't around to witness it.

One eyebrow arching, Michael pushed his (ridiculously long) sleeves up past his elbows and wove his way along the hallway until he stood outside the bathroom. He momentarily considered standing right near the door for dramatic effect when it popped back open, but then came to the conclusion that probably wasn't a great idea. She'd probably crash into him on the way out. So, despite his hankerings otherwise, Michael put himself up against the far wall and waited.

Simon grinned, he planted his palms on the slope of the mound of crap, hoisting himself up the side without even a wince of pain. There was a slight pressure... but the coarse sandpaper like skin protected him from most of the sharp jaggedy things. He hardly paid notice to it, it'd allways been that way.

Up Up and Up to the top! His grin widened, as he balanced himself on the unsturdy boards and things, carefulyl he stood-Wobbling once-then striking a victory pose. "Hah. I'm king of the... er.. mountian." he nodded firmly.

Bree shifted in the bathroom, just sitting on the bathroom torlett. How long had she been in there? She wasn't sure anymore.. it felt like awhile though. She had to go back out there... she couldn't just leave kizu and that boy alone with Simon, god knew what he was doing...
So it'd be better to freak the boy out and sit nearby than let him be eaten right?

Her ears perked, twitching as her breath caught in her throat. Was someone out the door? Her shoulders hunched, glancing around the bathroom for some sort of weapon. Bree, being an adventure, wasn't the best person to sneak up on... Nevermind the fact she was in someone elses house, the thought that the person belonged there or was even the boy she was watching occured to her.

She edged towards the door, back against the wall and the mighty weapon she had found, a toothbrush, in hand. In one quick motion she had the door open and the toothbrush to the strangers throat. While the toothbrush was no good, her posture still held a hint that she knew what she was doing. "Who are you? And why are you standing outside the bathroom..." Wether it was his house or not, it seemed odd... Wierd pee-loving perverts did that kinda stuff. Her ears lowered at the thought, wether that was a good lower or not was questionable...

Etain made a face as he watched Simon clamber up the giant hill of crud. Clearly, the unicorn found something admirable in the older boy's climbing skill. Heck, it had been a little hard just getting up here, he couldn't imagine how the other kid had gotten up so darn fast...

"Wow," he chirped happily, offering the older boy a broad smile and he pulled himself onto yet another wobbly ledge, crouching slightly to keep his balance. Etain's little fingers gripped at a (thankfully) dull edged piece of metal.

Michael watched with mild interest as the door came popping open. He did take a slight shift backward away from the threat of the toothbrush (or simply contact) though, gaze sweeping briefly over Bree.

"I," he said simply. "Am seeing who is in my house. Tovar didn't bother with introductions. Boy has no ettiquette." Michael paused, craning his neck to peer past Bree into the bathroom. "--the unicorn's not in there with you, is he; or are you playing that seek and find game?"

Bree eyed the man for a moment, hadn't that guy said somethinga bout someone else... Yea. Maybe. She had forgotten by now, wait... someone else was here! She immediatly perked up, she had a witness now. No one could possibly claim she did anything directly to make the unicorn boy act the way he had... Surely, if it had been any normal child she would have been arrested for some sort of child molestation charges...
His words caught her attention, and with her current mind track she gave him a look of horror. "No! I wouldn't do that!" She huffed a bit, frowning at him.

Once again it took a moment for the woman to catch up with reality, she shook her head when it hit her. "No... I mean... well." Think rationally Bree... You've encountered pits of vipers and spikes, this is hardly any different. She coaxed herself, deciding to level with the new person. "You know about Etain's ... "sixth sense" right? You live with him." her arms crossed, waiting a moment or two so what she said to make a bit of sense. "I think if the poor boy stays around me any longer he might just die off."

Simon grinned, standing proud atop his kingdom. Not a ounce of recognition for the danger that held close to the younger boy.

Lev neared the object, eyeing over the death trap cautiously. Even if he had just hatched he wasn't this dumb... He gave a tiny whine of protest, wanting to follow his friend to the top of the kingdom... but at the same time, he didn't feel like dragging his tender belly agross jagged bits and peices.

Simon peered over at him, "What's wrong boy?"

Michael arched one eyebrow slowly, giving Bree a glance that clearly said 'Are you insane or something...?'

The look broke quickly though, apparently a feigned expression as Michael's features fell into a slightly smug and knowing set. "What, his 'purity detection?' Don't ask me about it; the kid hates me. It's a good thing those people -- wherever Tovar got him from -- can sense a virgin a mile away or something. But I don't think Tovar knows." Michael lifted one hand, rapping his knuckles against his skull in a cruel pantomime. "He's thicker than he looks." Shrugging, Michael dropped his hand. "But you shouldn't worry. Tovar'll be back soon; time passes differently there."

He paused, casting a long glance down the hall as if looking for something. "So...where is that kid? He's not getting smashed by a wardrobe or anything, is he? Things like that happen occassionally here."

Etain twisted around where he stood, peering down at the dragon that had settled himself at the foot of the 'death trap' (or 'magical super fort,' depending on your perspective). Etain blinked, watching Lev thoughtfully for a few seconds before averting his gaze to the older boy. "Sumfink wrong?"

Maybe the dragon was worried, like how Tovar was when he tried to climb on things...

Bree shifted a bit, letting out a sigh. If she could she would damn Dcorp to hell... It allways put her into this crap.
Her ears perked a bit however, if etain hated him mayybbee... The man broke her thoughts, her eyes widening back ot her previous thought sof simon eating the innocent little child. "s**t!" she squeaked, shoving past Michael and out the door. As soon as her feet hit the outside, and the lack of the two boys in the front yard she was yellnig "SIMON DON'T YOU EAT THAT POOR BOY." She hurried around the corner of the house.

Lev shifted again, giving another whine that faded into a hiss and a click. Shaking his head... this didn't look good. But... his friends were up there, oh the delima.
He froze as the strange woman came barrling around the corner, giving a screech of suprise.

Michael watched with some amusement as the woman went barreling down the hall and out of the front door. He shrugged faintly, rubbing the back of his neck thoughtfully. "So much for socializing, then. And Tovar says I don't try..." Chuckling, Michael rounded about and began to move back to the staircase. As he passed the kitchen, there was a rather loud BANG! (that he knew for a fact wouldn't travel past the walls of the house). Michael paused in the doorway, peering inside. "Oh, you're back."

Coughing and wheezing, brushing the dusting what looked like little bits of glass off the front of him, and looking like he had the world's biggest headache, Tovar glanced up sharply and peered in Michael's direction. "Apparently so - you didn't bother that nice woman, did you?" he demanded sharply, eyeing Michael suspiciously.

"Don't be silly," Michael responded with a flippant wave before continuing toward the stairs.

Outdoors, Etain was in the midst of clambering up the junk heap, a good halfway up to where Simon stood when the woman came flying around the corner, screeching like a banshee from that scary story Michael had told him once when Tovar was too busy in the library. Etain squeaked, lost his balance, pinwheeled his arms, and went toppling right off where he'd been standing, bumping his way down the pile of crud until he landed with a slight thump in the grass at it's base. For about .2 seconds, all was silent, and then --

Etain burst out crying.

Crap!

Simply, this wasn't her element... Her wiser side knew Simon wouldn't have eaten him... While he might have hurt him, yes, but mortal wounding was beyond the preteen. She knew that...

Still, she had overreacted, it was an all out awkward situation that twisted her nerves into a tense little ball. Stick her in a pit full of poisonous snakes and jagged spikes over dealing with a toddler that knew about your sexlife any day of the week.
Not to mention he was crying now. She wasn't dumb, she had noticed that when she got close he got uneasy... So how was she supposed to take care of this? Toddlers, from her limited knowlage, needed to be cradled and loved on when hurt. "Etain! Sweety..." she cooed, failing at a motherly tone. Nope.. not her element. "Shh..." she edged towards him, stopping a bit away.

Simon cringed at the loud noise. And while he beleived crying was for babies... it didn't excape his mind that Etain WAS a baby. He hadn't wanted the boy to get hurt... Where wa sthe fun in showing off if the person you were competeing against was too busy bawling on the ground to notice.

And what the hell was Bree doing? He stared at her.. Wasn't she supposed to do.. something. He wasn't sure what, but SHE was the babysitter, not him.

"Simon." she hissed, generally displeased that he had been idiotic enough to lead a toddler up a pile of dangerous junk. "Cradle the boy!" she commanded, pointing to Etain... From any passer by it would look like the meanest thing for her to do... refusing to even touch Etain as he sat crying on the ground. But in reality... It was actually her being kind.

Simon gave her a look. A distraught, disturbed and confused one. A look that clearly stated "wtf." Either way... the look on her face wasn't one to argue with, and since it HAD been his fault.. sorta. Not really, the kid had suggested the idea in the first place!--Well apparently it was his fault now. So grumbling something he jumped off the pile, frowning as he picked up the child in an awkward display of attempted cradling. "Aa... Calm down, runt..." he started awkwardly, glancing back at Bree.

Bree was grinnign now... hardly beleiving he hadn't refused her request and abandoned the poor child... Maybe he was getting a heart?

Simon frowned even more from that look, flicking his tail as an idea hit him. "Don't worry, that psycho ugly lady won't get you now." he comforted, the best a preteen shark-monster-boy could.

Bree's grin faultered.

Simon seemed ot pick up where her grin left off... Bullseye.

The little boy definitely didn't seem to like seeing Bree again - at least, seeing as he was already crying, catching sight of the young woman only made him bawl harder and flop miserably down into the grass: cushioning his head on his arms and promptly getting his shirt sleeves all snotty and damp. As such, he may have been a little difficult for the older boy to peel off the ground, his boneless state not exactly making things easy. Etain's arms immediately found their way around Simon's neck, the unicorn's flushed little face nestling itself immediately against the other's collarbone.

Initially, the 'cradling' and assurances just seemed to make things worse. Slowly, however (or maybe it just seemed slow - such things were difficult to distinguish), Etain began sniffling instead of crying and eventually fell silent again the comforting presence of the other boy. Admittedly, that Etain found Simon such a comfort was a little odd considering Bree's apparent slight distrust of the boy's nature but... - but as long as it wasn't her it was alright.

"T-tovar?" he croaked questioningly, probably meaning something along the lines of 'is he back yet?'

Simon was, to say the least, awkward. he wasn't holding hte boy exactly right, if he hadn't went up to grab ahold of his neck he'd have likely started holding him upside down. Maybe there'd be an off switch on the bottum of it's foot or something...

However, it seemed to be dieing down. So he continued with what he was doing. Insulting Bree. "Yep. She's so ugly when she entered an ugly contest, they said: Sorry no professionals!" Ba ba pish.
Oh yes, he was a natural.

Bree frowned. "That's enough, Simon..." Tovar? she barely heard the squeaked word... however she had caught it. "Yea right.. I'll go see." with that she turned around to go see if the man had returned by now.
Please let him have returned by now... "Tovar?" She questioned, poking her head back inside the house.

Unfortunutly she heard the next one that Simon could pull up. "And she's so ugly people dress as her for halloween." He grinned to himself as she retreated, likely more amused by these than the boy was. But that really wasn't what was on his mind... He'd been wanting to pull some of these since the last time he was at the library and found that book of 'yo mama' jokes. And here she wouldn't turn around and pound the crud out of him.

It seemed indoors people were arguing. Not particularly loudly, persay, but with enough venemence that the brief mutters and words that travelled far enough to the door definitely sounded angry. They cut off sharply the moment Bree's call had travelled down the hall. A half moment later, brushing nonexistant dirt from his shoulders, Tovar wheeled into the hall and managed a sharp smile that he tossed in the young woman's direction. "I'm sorry - er, got caught up in something. How did it go?"

Insert hallelujah chorus here.

Outside, Etain managed a half sniffle-half laugh in response to Simon's jokes. They weren't very nice, but... but they were still pretty funny. Carefully, he unwound his arms from around the older boy's neck, squirming a little until he was put back down on the ground. "T-thanks," he sniffled, hunching over slightly to brush the dirt off his knees and the front of his frilly (incredibly girly) shorts. "Yer mom's pretty," Etain said suddenly, straightening. "J-jus'...scary."

Bree could almost hear the heavens open up and sing glorious songs. While she felt alittle silly for the way she had acted, she was still incredibly releived to get out of there. Just... Leave. Run. Never come back.

"Ah, fine." She lied through her teeth. "he's very well behaived, Ah but... Simon somehow convinced him to climb up this pile of stuff and got hurt while I was going to the bathroom, I think he's fine... But he's asking for you." She explained, hoping that a 'why arn't you back there taking care of him?' question wouldn't follow. "I'm really sorry though." She looked like the worst babysitter on earth right now, but how could she do much better when the boy seemed to spontaniously combust everytime she got within eyesight?

Simon shrugged, quickly dropping the boy to his feet. "Lotsa people seem to think that, I don't see why though." He gave a huff of breath, not even bothering to contemplate this issue. She was just... Unattractive, no matter how he looked at it. Maybe he was just too young, or it could be the reining fact that she was his mom, that was usually one of the top 'unsexy' qualities. Ah but.. "Scary?" he echoed in bored curiosity. Maybe if she was pissed...
