INNER_EYE Both great, both balads from their thrash time. So which one is the best? Fade to black is a classis that will live forever, the lyrics beeing really meaningfull and the music is wonderfull, and the heavier part between the verses just makes the song complete. One a song that has so much meaning you want to throwup, the lyrics are amazing (even better then fade?) and the end part where it speeds up and ends with a headbangers haven. And lets not forget that these songs has the best intro solos ever (in my oppinion!) So how shall it be? Fade or One? one, all the way, fade to black is really good, but its just not as good as "one"

one takes it by a mile, i love the intro alot, i love the verse, and i love how the chorus just kinda blows you away. I love the lyrics, though they may be slightly disturbing i love the story they tell.

I love Fade to Black, and I also like One. But...I'm going to have to go with One because I feel that One has a more important story than Fade to Black and One just really expresses how one would feel after they've been to war and got injured. Plus, I have the One Pushead-artwork T-shirt whee

Mnemosyne00 I love Fade to Black, and I also like One. But...I'm going to have to go with One because I feel that One has a more important story than Fade to Black and One just really expresses how one would feel after they've been to war and got injured. Plus, I have the One Pushead-artwork T-shirt whee lol I still remember that you have t-shirt lol ^^

One because i was never liked either of em but i started to like one alot so One i gotta say better than fade to black but fade to black ain't that bad

I love both songs, but seriously....I think that Fade to Black is better in my opinon....cliff Burton was still in the band when it was recorded. Apart from that, the lyrics for Fade to Black are very deep.....i still love "One" great songs, that's a tough call.

That is a hard choice.I say One.It's story is more gripping.
