Tonight was pretty amazing already. Sure, it'd only been a few minutes, but Lyric called her a princess!! He was a little blushy, but Ella was absolutely flushed too. She was really giddy about the whole day, plus something about this made her feel really special. When she gifted him a flower crown, she was really happy that he leaned down so she could put it on his head. She made sure it was perfectly straight, then grinned up at him. He said he'd just been knighted, then he agreed it was the best night ever. "I think you meant to say you're the best knight ever." Well, if he was a knight, he may as well be the best one!

As she was wondering his thoughts, Lyric asked what she wanted to do, then said he was at her service. Ella grinned even brighter, her excitement evident to anyone around. "Well, there is one thing..." Alice already knew this, and Sebastian probably did too, but Ella didn't think she'd ever told Lyric before. "I used to watch my family host fancy parties, and I always really wanted to dance in one of those. So... maybe we can dance? It's really lovely out here, but I'd be happy inside too. Wherever you want, my dear knight." She was curious to see what he'd say, but she just wanted to make sure she got at least one really nice dance in her fancy dress.

As Ella explained her excitement with the dance, glad that Lyric seemed to be listening. Of course, he was one of the people that knew about Ella's time with the Antonovs (as far as anyone knew about that time, anyway), so he probably connected the dots. She grinned brightly when Lyric did a fancy, dramatic sort of bow, then she put her hand in his so they could walk together to the dancefloor. There were a few other couples dancing here, but Ella's eyes were only on Lyric. He was really doing a great job at making today quite perfect.

She chuckled a bit when he called her the belle of the ball, then mentioned the Disney movie. "That's because the term came first. 'Belle' is French for Beauty. It's supposed to mean the most beautiful person at the whole ball." And, while Ella would normally feel very much not that, something about Lyric's grand gestures made her feel every bit the holder of the title. He squeezed her hand and she returned the gesture, feeling quite comfortable with the gesture (probably because she often ended up holding hands with one person or another).

Ella listened to Lyric's idea, saying they could dance outside, then go inside and dance more... but also with snacks! That sounded great! "I think that's a wonderful idea. Dance, then have a little snack break, then more dancing. It sounds like a perfect night." He broke into giggles, leading Ella to do the same. He was a really perfect person for a date, honestly. Besides, he was going to let her reach her dreams! Once on the dancefloor proper, she spun to face him, reaching up to put her hand on his shoulder so they could dance under the twinkly lights.

Ella nodded when Lyric seemed to agree with her explanation. If it was French, maybe she'd ask Bieito about the actual origin. He was from France, after all! She giggled a bit when he cheered about using the term correctly. "You did indeed!" Of course, Lyric was really smart, and Ella was glad to encourage learning wherever she could. When he winked, she felt her cheeks warm up a bit more, the brunette feeling a little silly for the moment. Something about this whole evening was making her blush an awful lot.

Once they made it to the dance floor, Ella did a little twirl. Once they were in dance position, he confessed he didn't actually know how to dance. Oh boy. "I was hoping you did so I could follow your lead!" she confessed with a laugh. But if he promised to not step on her toes and let her do little twirls and dips, that sounded like half of dancing, right? She lifted their hands, doing a little twirl, grinning all the while. "I think we can figure it out. Or just... maybe we do what other people are doing!" She grinned, hoping the idea would be enough to keep them from looking silly.

When Lyric said he'd skipped part of his knightly duties, Ella giggled. If nothing else, he was very much committed to the bit. Sure, they had no idea how to dance, and sure, they were probably a little gigglier than most of the other couples, but Ella was having a lot of fun! On the dancefloor, he said that trying to mimic the others was a good enough plan. She blushed when his hand came to rest on her hip, honey brown eyes sparkling with excitement. They started with a nice sway, just moving to the music. It felt almost comforting, but that may be because Lyric was one of her dearest friends.

Ella looked at the others (including Alice and Sebastian) dancing, and was glad that everyone seemed to be having fun. When Lyric spoke, she turned her gaze back to him, though it was cast over to another nearby couple, doing a spin. Lyric reminded that he promised all the spins and twirls. "I would love to do a twirl!" She grinned with excitement, swaying until the others moved. She lifted her arm and spun out and back, giggling with delight all the while. "I don't know if we're dancing right, but it's so much fun!"

A light blush colored her cheeks the entire time they were dancing, but it deepened a little when he brushed some of her hair from her face. Blue eyes continued to stare up at him, her eyes twinkling in the lights outside. She nodded slightly when he told her to let him know if she needed to slow down. When he spun her in a little twirl, Alice squealed happily, then rolled up to the balls of her feet to press her lips against his. The blonde laid her head against her boyfriend's chest and sighed happily. "I could stay in this moment forever. I know I say it a lot but I love you." She lifted her head from his chest and looked up into his eyes. "You're the love of my life and I'd be lost without you. You're my first thought in the morning and my last thought before I drift to sleep. Simply, you're my everything." She smiled again and laid her head back against his chest, content to sway with him and listen to the sound of his heart beating. Her fingers found the claddagh ring she'd given him and another little smile crossed her lips. This... this was everything she'd hoped for and so much more.

This was, so far, perhaps Ella's favorite night of the year... or maybe several years, honestly. Ever since she had first been moved to Romania, she'd wanted a night like this. Then again, Bieito and Charlotte made for far better designers than did the Antonovs. There was so much beauty all around! And yet, despite the decor, Lyric seemed focused solely on her. He'd said she was the beauty! It made her heart feel so happy after so many struggles with her appearance. He let her do another twirl, which made her laugh happily. It felt so fancy to twirl about in a fluffy dress!

When she worried they might not be dancing perfectly, Lyric quickly said it was okay, because they were having fun. "It's so much fun!" Ella nodded, thinking his logic made sense. He was right about having fun, either way. It was nice that he also confirmed their twirly dancing was fun for him as well. Ella tried to give him a chance to twirl, gasping when he stumbled. Thankfully he was still laughing and not spilled on the floor. Lyric said they'd made it through the basics, causing Ella to nod along. She was happy to move closer to him, returning to gentle swaying. Her honey brown eyes reflected the twinkle lights as she looked up at Lyric.

He asked about other moves to try, and she was about to mention not knowing very many steps, but instead she giggled happily when she was twirled again. Those were so fun, if a little dizzying! "If I remember right, you mentioned something about dips too. I don't really know any other moves, admittedly, but the spins are fun!" Another laugh escaped, the girl having more fun than she would have thought possible.
