Despite the indignity of her situation and the obvious gap in their skill level, Tempesti found herself laughing. At least she and Iapetus were on the same side, though she was surprised when she retained the grip on her wrists. “Well, I’d use my magic if I could. If not, I’d probably try to drive my heel into someplace painful to startle them into loosening their grasp.” She thought briefly, “…Maybe I’d bite them if I had to. Though I really wouldn’t want to get anything Chaos-y in my mouth.” She smiled at the other senshi, “I’d like to cover the coffee if that’s alright. I really appreciate your help.”

Eyes glinting, Iapetus shook her head and winked.
“Don’t concede so fast, girlie pop! At least give me a chance to counter. As it stands, those are all decent ideas that, depending on your circumstances, could work to get you loose. I wouldn’t recommend the biting one if you’re the one that has to intentionally move in closer. But if they were already dragging you in? Go for it. Maybe make magic your last resort, though. And as for the whole heel thing, hmm…”
Iapetus glanced down at how they were positioned and considered. It was an approach, but for how they stood in that moment, not the best one.
“I think you’re too at risk of unbalancing yourself if you tried that. Heel stomps are more effective if you’re a lot closer. So, I believe that means I have countered your counters,” she said with a wide grin. “And that means you’re covering the coffees.”
Releasing Tempesti’s wrists, Iapetus stood back and winked again. All she’d done was play with her own rules to let the other senshi do what she’d been asked to allow. It was all in fun, after all. Tempesti really did need to work on that overthinking though. Too much of that would get her into trouble. And hopefully, Ipaetus had demonstrated that clearly. In any case, it was getting late and the coffee called.
“So there’s this great little bodega,” she began. “It doesn’t look like much, but the owner does some amazing Vietnamese coffee. Their regular stuff is pretty good too. And they’ve always been so nice to me when I’ve gone in after competitions. I like to give them any business I can. I think you’ll like ‘em!”
She busied herself quickly with cleaning up her things and squirreling them away. After all. The coffee called.
