Lykos wasn't that far out of it. In fact, he'd been baiting him in and Reich had fallen for it. So as he comes in for a splash, Lykos raises his boot, aiming to kick him right in the chest

As he was coming in for the splash, Lykos had baited him into the kick which sent him down to a knee. The blow knocked the air out of him, as he mentally kicked himself.
He should have seen it coming and he ground his teeth as he tried to return to a vertical base.

Lykos aimed for the chest because it would be less expected. It worked, and now he steps forward and looks to take Reich down with a clothesline as he's getting vertical again

Lykos had a good idea, however Reich had an idea and as Lykos went for the clothesline, Reich would look to grab the arm and try to perform a judo throw.

Lykos is caught and goes over with a throw out of nowhere, though the champion bounces back up after hitting the mat, perhaps a step off his game

As Lykos was looking to recover from the judo throw, Reich would look to stay one step ahead of the champion by looking to deliver an arm drag in an attempt to keep the champion off his game.

an arm drag takes Lykos to the mat but again doesn't keep him down, as he rolls to the ropes and leans against them, seemingly disoriented

Seeing that he the champion on spaghetti legs. Reich would look to keep the momentum up way of a nasty shotgun dropkick that if it connected would certainly bring the crowd to their feet.
This new type of offense was uncharacteristic for the big German who the crowd knew focused more on brute strength then technical prowess.

the dropkick clocks the champion and Lykos goes out through the ropes to the floor outside. Near the barricade, he starts to pull himself up again

Seeing Lykos spill to the outside, Reich kept his eyes locked on his recovering opponent. Thinking quickly, he would look to build up a head of steam and then dive through the ropes with a massive Topé.

Lykos gets to his feet and spots movement through the ring. This time, however, he steps to the side and lets Reich crash to the floor, more than glad to give himself a breather

With a sickening crash, he plowed headfirst into the barricade, elicting gasps from the crowd. His foot kicked weakly as he grabbed at his neck which had taken the full brunt of the impact.
That was a nasty landing King and Reich appears to be hurt. Let's hope it's not too serious."

Now with a moment to catch his breath, Lykos pushes his hair out of his face and looks back to the challenger. The damage done isn't enough for the Dark Wolf, so he reaches down to pull Reich up slightly, only to attempt to fling him against the barricade

He barely had much time to recover when he felt Lykos grav him. He thought that he was being helped up, only to have Lykos fling him back and neck first into the barricade with sickening thud.
His body contorted as the pain wracked through his body and he clenched his teeth as a groan escaped through his teeth.
"Wonder if Reich is regretting that decision going high risk."

Lykos briefly rolls into the ring to break the referee's ten count, then rolls back out again. Again he goes to pull Reich up, but this time he aims to launch him with an overhead belly to belly suplex
