Doing his best to stay stealthy, Avari would wait for Omen to finally get to a vertical base.
At that point he rushes at the ropes to the side of Omen, aiming to bounce off for a big dropkick!

Quick as always, Avari hit the ropes and hit a precise dropkick. Sending Omen back down to the mat face first.
But he wouldn't stay down for long, immediately getting to his hands and knees. Eating the abuse early on, but eventually all the damage coming his way will stack up if hes not careful.

Avari wasn't just on top of the match, he was on top form. The dropkick was sublime, but Omen had eaten that and had already started to get up.
Rolling back to a vertical base himself, Fusion eyed his opponent up.
This time, when Omen was getting back up, he would rush at him for a Shining Wizard!

He was definitely feeling himself, but he would be feeling himself in a different sense. Avari came dashing up in the face of Omen.
Once the Freak had registered where his opponent was coming from, he would dash up at his opponent, looking to cut him off with a headbutt to the chest of the former world champion.

Perhaps Avari should have waited and been stealthy there again, hidden like last time. Omen, however, was catching on.
A headbutt that felt like a siege weapon caught Avari, sending him hurtling down hard against the canvas clutching his chest.

Just like a battering ram, the headbutt cleared all that was in its path. Avari dropped to the mat like a sack of potatoes, as Omen would rise.
Slightly jarred from the maneuver, Omen would crack his neck, before getting back to business. Walking to his opponent, he would bring his size 15 boot, and begin to press it into the gut of Avari. Using his full weight, shifting his foot side to side to dig deeper into the flesh.

Avari cried out in pain.. a deep, guttural pain that echoed throughout the stadium.
Some of it was muffled by the fact that the wind was being knocked out him, however.
The ref leaned in close, asking Avari if he wanted to quit.
"N-never.. not u-until.. until I'm dead.."

It seems like since that very first meeting the two had, Avari had held on to the words of Omen. Clinging to them. Even now.
Belting out a laugh, the Freak would try to help Avari give up a little bit early, raising the foot up and stomping down on the midsection.

The stomp down hard was calculated and vicious, and cause the wind to be knocked from the gut of Avari.
Fusion rolled to his side, ending up with half his body under the ropes.

On the retreat are we, Omen would not be far behind where Avari was at all times. Once the son of Nuke Fusion rolled halfway under the ropes, the Freak lifted the leg once more and placed it on the side of Avari's head.
The official would begin to shout at the world champion at the illegal and disrespectful maneuver.

Avari cried out in pain as Omen pressed his overly large boot directly into his cranium. The pain was incredible.. who knew a monster tormenting you would hurt like this?!
The ref began his count to break the hold..

There we go. Omen began to bark out in laughter. Continuing to compression the skull of his opponent against the mat. Leaving his opponent to flail as the official continued the count!

Avari could do nothing but cry out in pain, with a sold-out stadium watching on. This wasn't just looking like a world title defence, but it was also looking like a mauling.
A predator playing with its food?

Another count as Avari continued to scream as the pressure in his head was beginning to become too much.
4!
As soon as the 4 count was made, Omen would release his hands from the ropes and step off the skull of Avari, backing up as the official would drop to a knee and check if Avari was still able to compete.

Avari groaned and then nodded his head, dragging his body up with the help of the ropes.
He fully expected Omen to be there, but what was he going to do?
