Sailor Tempesti was surprised by the knight’s revelation and sincerely hoped that she hadn’t hit a sore spot. What little she knew about purification sounded traumatic even if she ultimately believed that it was for the best. Either way, she knew it had to take serious conviction to take a step like that, so Nectaris wasn’t going to find any judgment on her end. “Sorry if that was a rude question…for what it’s worth I’m glad we’re on the same side,” Tempesti smiled sheepishly at the knight. Curious as she was about purification and its aftereffects, she didn’t want to press Nectaris into saying anything she was uncomfortable with, “So, if knights awaken alone, do you get your signet rings magically too? Does someone…I don’t know…get pinged when a knight awakens or do they just expect you to just stumble into someone who has an idea of what’s happening to you?” She knew that different people gave off different energy signatures, if they could detect that then surely they could know when someone needed an…orientation? On-boarding?

"I'm not, uh, totally sure?" said Nectaris, cheeks going a bit pink not just 'cause of the corruption thing, but also because she hadn't bothered to ask anyone who had awakened normally about it. "I think it's more of the second where there's, like, pretty much nothing?" She glanced upwards, towards where she could see the moon through the streetlights. "The Code would have to know," she murmured, mostly to herself. "It's, like, our power source?" she said, a little louder. "But it's also like, sentient? There's a place on the Moon and I think a couple of other spots where you can go talk to it. So, maybe I could go talk to it about if there's a better way to get new Knights connected." She nodded at Tempesti. "Yeah. Good idea."

Rowan nodded, listening intently as Nectaris spoke. She knew very little about The Code but hoped that it would be able to offer new knights some form of guidance. Or guidance on how to give more guidance. From the sound of it even a pamphlet would be better than what they had now, so they probably couldn’t do much worse. “That seems like a good idea, if there’s anything I can do to help just let me know.” She meant the offer sincerely, it felt more and more wrong that they, whoever “they” happened to be, expected knights to just go running blindly into their new situation. “Do the Mauvians ever help with knight stuff or are they only focused on the senshi and themselves?” She hoped she didn’t sound like she was judging them, she was just curious about the structure. “I’ve been studying some coding languages. It’s obviously nothing on their level, but with time and a lot of collaboration I think I could throw together something messy to let someone nearby know that there’s someone who needs help and hopefully they could…I don’t know, make it more secure and less buggy? I don’t know. It’s just… I don’t know what I would have done if I had to go at this completely blind.”

"Yeah, Mauvians can help with knight stuff," said Nectaris. "I think some of it can be limited 'cause it's specifically made for senshi magic, like the phones? But they've done stuff with our rings and stuff too, before, so you can ask." Just like she could ask the Code. She wasn't sure if it would actually be able to help her, but she had to try. If they kept trying things to make things more efficient and easier, something would have to work eventually, yeah? "That's really cool, though, that you know computer stuff like that. Like, I know the basics," like how to use the Internet, "But if you asked me to code something?" she shook her head, waving a hand in front of her. '' "But that's pretty good information, yeah? About your goals and stuff." She scribbled a few more things in the journal. "Is there anything else you'd like to say for your database entry before you go?"

It was good to hear that the Mauvians were able to help more than just senshi. Now, she just needed to find one who might be able to help her smack something into a usable shape. She only had the capacity to make the barest framework for something that might ping on the GPS, so she needed a lot more practice before she could make anything she wouldn’t be embarrassed to show someone. Or something that wouldn’t somehow make everything explode. She didn’t think she could do that with the basic things she’d been learning, but there was a first time for everything. “I’m just learning, they’ve got some good classes at the library if you’d want to come with me sometime.” She smiled at the knight, “Um, could you just note that I’m happy to help other people if I can? Other than that, I think that’s good for now!

"Hmm," said Nikki, about the classes, but she shook her head pretty quickly. "I dunno if it's really my thing. There's a Mauvian in my house who's into the computer stuff, though, maybe I can send her your way if you want." There were plenty of people who could cover the technology side of things, she was pretty sure. It was cool that she was talking to someone who wanted to get into it. She wrote down the last few notes, then finally closed the notebook up with a smile. "Well, that should be a good little overview to put in the write up, then! Plus you gave me some things to think about, with the Knight stuff." She waved, and then held up a hand, Flutters vanishing back into her ring. "Thanks for coming to the interview!"
