The mighty Axolotls were going to dominate today! How could they not, with the likes of her, Pad and Poppy in the lineup. Her best friends were typically reserves, so she rarely got to play against them during the Quidditch season. That’s what she loved about the scrimmage, getting to play with and against players who don’t normally get the spotlight. Zoe smiled, keeping her excitement a bit more than Poppy was. xxxxx⥈ Wʜᴀᴛ's Iɴsɪᴅᴇ Mʏ Hᴇᴀᴅ? Gonna be so much fun!
It was time yet again for the newly annual scrimmage game. This time Xiang had come up with team mascots and had even gotten shirts made for all the players. Once all of them had moseyed onto the pitch and grabbed their brooms, Xiang tooted the whistle to summon everyone skyward. Once everyone was in the air, she went over to release the bludgers, then the snitch. Both seekers in this game were pretty young, but she was certain it would still be a fun game.
Grabbing the quaffle, Xiang took to the sky in the center of the pitch. "Good morning, my darlings! Today we've got the second annual Spring Break Scrimmage Game, with our teams, the Axolotls and the Puffins! As always, there should be no cheating, no magic, but we've got a new rule for this one! Please, guys, remember today is just for fun! Either way, all the players are going to get cupcakes and punch, all made by yours truly. So lets get this game started!"
With the Chasers in position, Xiang tossed the quaffle up into the air and backed up. This game was going to be awesome, she was sure! It was a fun variety of players, all of whom were super excited to play.
