“I’m really glad that we’re friends as well,” Fiona replied, her tone genuine.

Although she loved her sister, Breana was intense to be around sometimes, and honestly, Fiona didn’t really enjoy being powered with her since it often led to trouble. Still, they were twins and had a connection that was difficult to explain or describe. While sometimes distance was needed, being apart for too long made her feel uneasy.

“I’m just going to put these away in my locker and lock up. I’ll meet you over by the front door in a few minutes.” She nodded in the direction of the entrance before hustling off towards the back room to stow her belongings and grab her side back that had both her car keys and wallet. “Alright, I’m ready. Let’s get some food in us,” she said with a bit of pep in her step.

Slowly but surely, with Sylvie’s help, Fiona felt herself coming out of her frozen shell little by little. It was by no means an easy task to thaw the frozen walls she’d built around herself since awakening as a senshi. But day by day she was beginning to feel somewhat normal again, more herself.
