Ares guessed right, buying himself enough time to get a little bit more speed. Hitting the ropes once more, Ares looked to throw himself at his opponent with a leaping clothesline. Using every ounce of speed to try and make up for the lack of power!

Lykos turns and finds Ares coming back at him for a leaping clothesline. The Dark Wolf reaches up, attempting to catch him as he leaps into the air, then launch him backwards with a fallaway slam

Lykos wouldn't have to do much as Ares basically threw himself up and over his opponent. Sending him once again to the outside. Crashing into the padding

Lykos kips up after the fallaway slam, turning to see where Ares had landed. Outside of the ring again, which wasn't his exact intent but not the worst thing either. Lykos steps out of the ring and quickly attempts to pull Ares up. Time to go a bit old school, as he'd attempt to lift him into a bearhug, then ram him spine first into the ringpost

Ares would still be recovering, but the Black Wolf would not allow him that time to do so. Picking up the smaller man into a bear hug, Lykos had bad intentions.
But before Lykos moved, Ares would begin to rain some elbows down into the head of the wolf, fighting desperately.

Lykos thought he had things well in hand but Ares begins to fight back with elbows to the head, forcing the bigger man to drop the smaller one

Ares would feel the ground beneath his feet once more as Lykos would drop him. Seizing the opportunity, Ares Alexander began to slam the temple of Lykos with forearms. Over and over again to shake the brain of his opponent up real good.

there's some fight in Ares after all, as Lykos finds himself on the receiving end of several forearm shots. Lykos reaches up with one hand and attempts to shove Ares back away from him, needing the separation
|

Ares would get shoved back by the big man. Throwing him all the way back to the ringpost that was behind the smaller man. Taking a moment to hold his back and check his head as Lykos may have caught a lucky break.

Lykos is aware of the rising ten count, so he needs to get his opponent back in the ring. Stepping forward, he attempts to grab and roll Ares back into the ring, much preferring to get his first win in the ring

Ares would get tossed back in the ring by Lykos, saved from the count out by the big man. Ares upon rolling in would continue to roll to the opposite side of the ring, getting to the ropes to use them as a crutch back to his feet.

Lykos slides back into the ring after Ares and rises again, moving like the predator he'd named himself after. Aiming to catch Ares on the rise, he'd attempt to irish whip him to the ropes across the ring, then catch him with a back body drop on the return

Lykos wasting no time, sprinting toward Ares like a beast, and tossing him with the strength of a beast. But there was a moment of weakness, as Ares hit the ropes, Lykos would bend over for the back body drop. His eyes not on Ares.
Using this and his speed, Ares looked to catch Lykos off guard with a running knee to the bent over Lykos.

Lykos perhaps lowered his head a moment too soon, and the consequence is a knee to the head. The Dark Wolf recoils, rising back up to a full vertical base as he checks his mouth, perhaps for blood or to make sure his teeth were still there

Even that didn't take the big man down.
"Damn."
A bit of frustration would be let out as Ares had to continue the assault.
Running past Lykos, Alexander looked to hit the ropes and come back with a chop block to the back of the Dark Wolf as he was preoccupied checking himself.
