She couldn't do anything now about Hy-Brasil's actions or role in what had lead to this whole mess--but she could at least go after Encke to not endanger himself further, for that night anyway. It might have also been a slight... well. Venting point for her. It was a culmination of things, really. The location, the memories of her own time here so, so long ago, the Encke now versus the Encke then, and yes, the annoyance and concern at how swiftly they'd been overrun by Chaos at the house...

That rage, though, that momentary puff of Solarian feathery response to something bad... it deflated and smoothed out, her wings ruffling slightly before resettling against her. The simple greeting had punctured the bubble of temper, and Solaris felt her shoulders fall as her lips parted on a soft exhale. Welcome back.

Blue eyes glanced away, and Solaris drew herself up to her feet before the hot sting in her eyes could spill over. She swallowed thickly, leaving the bar and water bottle with Encke as she stepped away from the lot somewhat. Her hand rubbed against her lips and chin, a reflex to smother... nothing, but part of her certainly felt like she should either be laughing or crying, hearing that voice again. Her eyes burned badly, and she could only keep swallowing a moment to collect herself.

Her breaking down wouldn't do any good right now, for anyone. They had important concerns to deal with, not have an old senshi cry about a time that was long, long lost...

The Cybele knight speaking up was a good distraction, a better point to focus on while she brought herself back to the present instead of letting her mind spiral into despair over the past. The clear, concise way she recounted the events was soothing in its own way, if only to help highlight the importance of such a discussion.

Hy-Brasil's point of a likely leak made her bristle slightly as she turned back to the group, hands resting on her hips and nails tapping at the metal belt. The knights all had good points, and she nodded slightly at each as she tried to corral her thoughts back into line.

The Page of Ganymede spoke up, and Halle--Encke got a slightly bemused look as he spoke, though he was about to get a glare if he tried to get up again too soon. Being addressed as Miss with the wings made her laugh outright, a delighted snicker that lightened her expression considerably despite everything.

"I was a soldier," she hummed, at least to confirm of sorts she did have experience working with others, yes. "Solarians had... more than a few wars after we got cut off from the rest of the universe. Limited resources and all that. So the way I keep thinking goes back to those days, but..." Her lips pursed, brows furrowing. "The Negaverse's way of fighting is very different from even the different peoples of Solaris. We couldn't teleport, for one," she added with a growl, thinking to how quickly they'd all appeared. That was an especially dangerous part to deal with.

"Communication was a big deal--cyphers to help keep things somewhat more secure even over long-distance communications, regular check-ins with squads and higher-ups. That was a big part of it in and of itself, squads. Or, was, for a while." Till there weren't enough people for them to be properly effective. "But the point of never going into the field alone. Even scouts going more solo had strict report times and places they needed to be at or else it'd trigger emergency protocols."

Solaris was rambling, getting snagged from the present into recollections of how often she'd fight with higher ups and people with actual experience and knowledge on how to defend borders and people, never mind resources like clean water, food, medical supplies...

"We had a lot of caches, too, for when our units might have been low on supplies. Medical, mainly, some rations... stuff that wouldn't perish easily. Some were in sort of... bunkers, hidden away. Offered temporary shelter for them to hide away in till they were good to move out again, or if they could get word out, till reinforcements arrived."

Her gaze was far, far away as she continued to ramble, eyes on the ground and mind traveling through the ages. Trying to recall specifics she'd been forced to adhere to. But what would actually be applicable here...? "We need places in the city that're safe for us to retreat to if needed, and if we ever have any hostages again, places that can be properly enforced and protected to hold them and not get invaded by enemy agents, but even if we had a structure strong enough--can't be wood, just saw the result of that, brick?--but how do you keep agents from just teleporting in... how does that even work..."

Her voice trailed off, a mutter and a mumble and to make matters worse if anyone was trying to listen to her, she began to speak in the curving sweeps and rolls of Solarian...

Yeah, this senshi wasn't even on the same comet as them, mentally, anymore.

Trying not to get lost in the hopeless paranoia of a leak, a traitor that had tried to get everyone here killed, who would likely do so again, Halle listened to everyone discuss the situation and a way forward. Caledaon talking about the more mundane types of group work they'd all experienced, work...school, brought him to the edge of what felt like some sort of epiphany.

As...as a side, in a huge conflict, it was hard to image them organized and purposeful. But as teams of some sort? Maybe that could work. And maybe they could make a difference. He tried to wrap his head around it, around working with a group of people, different and larger than his close-knit group of Lysithean knights, different from the ad-hoc groups that sprung up at need until a fight was over.

And then Solaris started talking about her past and about being a soldier. She talked about creating infrastructure. And then she was talking in a language he'd never heard before, but what he'd been able to understand was more than enough to get Halle out of his worries about what he couldn't control and into thoughts about what he could do. What they could do.

((spiritual exit alongside Solaris ahahaha))
