This had gone pretty smoothly, and again the Squire felt he’d made a great argument in favor of civility between her and some agents. Certainly not all agents, she was sure there were those that would rather shove her face into the ground than try to talk and work with her like this. But this was nice, and she was already looking forward to their next meeting.

Ekstrom watched as he wiggled a loose beam, and bobbled her head at the instruction. “Will do. See you next time, then!”

With that, she waved goodbye and turned to go along her way, though she adjusted her trajectory so she was moving in the general direction of home. She’d done her duty for her fellow students tonight, and even got an unexpected ally-adjacent out of it. If that wasn’t a productive night, she wasn’t sure what would be.
