When his name had been called, it stirred him to drop the dice, letting it roll. He was close enough to the end even if it decided to go low he’d be free of this square.
Holding himself as he squeezed his eyes shut and moved forward, he didn’t want to look and see if anything else had been eaten away by the noxious acid he’d been in contact with in that square. His steps were slow and shuffled, everything hurt and he was so cold still.
Finally he was in the square with Alexandre and nothing else seemed to happen other than that oppressively bright light that was there. Shaking his head he still didn’t want to look. “It was… like acid had been thrown and my skin melted off.” Hinting that he was sure it had been real which was why he couldn’t bring himself to look. For now he just leaned forward and rested his chin in their head as he shook. This hasn’t been fun, hadn’t even been remotely pleasant, and he wanted to go back to their place since his was completely packed up aside from once set of clothes and shoes by the door.

As soon as Rene stepped into his space the blond was wraping his arms about them and drawing Rene against himself. The others screams had paniced and scared him, and while he held Rene he was looking him over, the blond needed to feel the other in his arms and know he was safe.
"So, your skin burned?" He questioned, drawing back just enouugh to look the other over better. "I don't see anything, your skin is fine." But if he'd felt like that, if he'd felt that much pain, he couldn't imagine it. Yanking the other back against himself and pressing his face into the others chest. "You're skin is fine, you look fine love." Whispering his words as he gripped the others clothing.
"We're going home and I'm burning our clothing and a hot soak is needed." And then just laying down, because Rene was scared and Alexandre was concerned and worried for the other. The best way he could think to address the issues was a hot soak and bonding time spent on the couch, with a movie or show on in t he background, so they could keep close.
