Kata looked curious when Tristan mentioned comics, "Oh you draw? That's awesome, my drawing abilities -- need some work." She chuckled, "I end up largely making models because my sketches are all over the place. I need to get better for sketches so that the floor plans look better for the insides of buildings and dungeons."
The tour guide was talking about the end of their tour and how more information could be found at the library. Kata softly glanced back over her shoulder knowing she probably shouldn't've but it seemed the thing was still back there tailing the group, maybe it just wanted to learn too?
When the tour guide wrapped up Kata looked over towards Tristan, "Ah, I guess that's the end of the tour?" It was a bit sad but the fact she made a new friend was exciting, "Maybe I'll see you around town?"

He gave a little nod but looked plenty proud. “Yeah, I’m a bit of an artist. It’s always been a dream of mine to make comics for a living. It’s not…really…viable for me right now, but I still do what I can in my free time.” He had a lot to be grateful for already–Hannah, successful and fulfilling career, and that his family was still all together, alive and well even though there was so much going on in this city–so it was hard to complain about not being able to fulfill his childhood dream of writing and illustrating a successful comic.
Besides, it was never too late to do that, anyway, so there was still the prospect of fulfilling it someday.
That day just wasn’t today, nor, he figured, would it be anytime soon.
Tristan glanced over at their guide as he wrapped up their tour for the evening, and turning to Kata he gave another little nod. “Sounds like it. And yeah, hopefully. It’s been a while since I’ve made a new friend.”
The tour guide eventually dismissed them, and he jabbed a thumb in the direction he was going. “I’m headed that way. Have a good rest of the night!” And with that he headed off, pulling his phone out to text Hannah and let her know he was on his way home.

Kata listened interested in what he was saying, "Oh that's neat! I hope you find time to the comic. I'd read it." She said with a smile, "I always like finding new material to read and it'd be neat to know people local who write."
She was pleased to have made a new friend as well, "Yes, a new friend is nice to have." She added with a sigh, "Specially with all the craziness that happens in this city."
When the tour guide wrapped up Kata looked over in the direction Tristan pointed to, "Ah, I'm headed that a way," She pointed off in the other direction, "Probably drop by the game store on my way home, see if there's any new miniatures today."
She headed off herself in hopes to find some new miniatures to paint and maybe grab a coffee before calling it a complete night.
