Well, now all the news was out in the air. The words hung around like a painfully heavy silence, a crushing weight upon him. Most likely Declan would be scared and tell people, which was so... so risky. If he hadn't been a big ol' dummy who got lost, none of this mess would've happened. Dec started to talk, causing Seb to look over at her. He was partially obscured under the blankets, just eyes peeking out. He felt his lip quiver, a bit of stress overflowing his brain. There were way too many emotions coursing though him, his heart racing as he felt tears well up in his eyes.

Declan was crying too, and he had to imagine it was to mourn their friendship. No way would she wanna be friends with him now! Heck, as soon as word got out, Seb figured that pretty much everyone would hate him immediately. He'd been there when their teacher talked about werewolves and all the books said that werewolves were like... horrible scary monsters! And now that was him! He tucked further under the blankets, softly adding a few words that he feared would be on her mind.

"I-if... if you don't wanna be friends anymore... I-I'd understand."

Seb sniffled softly, waiting to hear Declan walk away. Instead came a sharp screech from Zoot, followed by a weight on him as Dec practically squished him. God, Dec was so much of a weight! The only good thing was that she wasn't seeming to want to flee. He awkwardly pat her head, trying to keep her calm. As she said words that he rather hoped she wouldn't, Seb moved to try and hush the conversation. "Declan! Please! Don't... say that!" Oh jeez! Even if Dec was probably pretty quiet, the sound seemed so, so loud in Seb's ears.

It was then that he heard soft, yet sharp clicking on the floor as someone hurried over. "Declan, honey, please don't sit on his bed. He's very ill." Marni stepped over, gently shooing Declan off of the edge of the bed. She carefully rearranged the boy, fluffing him back in pillows and tucking under the blanket. Her face was very tense as she worked, and once he was tucked in (a little tightly, at that!) she let out a heavy exhale. "I may have overheard your.... recent words. Declan, I understand this is big news, but I must ask that this goes no further than here. If you feel the need to speak on it... well. Steps will need to be taken to ensure Sebastian remains safe." She pushed a thermometer in his mouth, seeing a little frown on the boy's face. "...'sokay...mmfummm." Seb tried to speak, but Marni hushed him since they couldn't understand the silly kid anyway.

Seb glanced over at Marni, who was poking at him again. Why did every medical person have to be so pokey?! Declan swore that she'd never tell the secret, earning a small sigh from the woman. "Thank you, Declan. It is top priority to keep this one safe." Marni tapped her wand over the boy a few times, colors whirling over his body that she was able to read. Pulling out the thermometer, she sighed. "39.1." She looked over at Declan, offering a small grin. "That I know. And if he trusts you, I shall too. Pardon me a moment while I grab some medicine for this kid. He's probably going to fall asleep shortly after, if you needed to do other things today."

Seb wrinkled his nose, a bit of a frown on his face. "I don't want any medicine. It's.. super yucky." He huffed softly, looking over at Declan. "I think I've slept like... a thousand hours this week." He tried to laugh, but started to cough with the motion. Lordy that hurt. His lungs felt like they were full of fire, which definitely didn't feel good. Maybe medicine was a good idea.... but he'd probably fight it. Seb really, really hated medicine. Pills were hard to swallow and liquid medicine always tasted horrible. It was just downright rude!

Marni walked back over, a small vial of blue-green potion in hand. "One vial of potion for Sebastian, one research book for Declan. Don't mind the cover, I figured you'd want... anonymity." She handed over a heavy book on "medical spellwork", then turned to the much bigger frustration. "Open mouth. You can't spit it out either, Sebastian." She did not like trying to give the wiggly teen medicine. After a few minutes of squirming, the medicine was finally in the teen's mouth. "Get some rest, dear. The medicine will help lower your fever." Marni lifted Zoot off the ground, setting him back up beside Seb, who looked to already be drifting off.

Seb felt... very odd. He was woozy and snoozy. "Mmmm... yea... sleepy..." he murmured, petting Zoot's back as he drifted off into the weird land of fever dreams. They had all been so very strange, causing all kinds of confusion in his brain. He was quickly reminded about running through the trees, before the fevery weirdness kicked in. He was suddenly splashing in the pool close to his first flat in Liverpool... but with a yeti somehow? How entirely bizarre...

Alice had been up in the Astronomy Tower all night, keeping her vigil over the Forbidden Forest, even as it rained outside. She'd wished she could be down there with Sebby, using magic to keep him from getting drenched. The blonde hated knowing that Sebastian was down there without his magic, having to shelter somewhere to avoid the rain. It absolutely broke her heart. As the moon set and the sun began to rise, Alice rose from her spot and gathered up her belongings. A yawn escaped from the blonde, but she stifled that pretty quickly. After tucking her blanket into her purse, she drew out a vial of wideye potion and quickly quaffed it, then returned the empty vial to her purse. She waited a moment and the potion quickly took effect, reinvigorating her immediately. Alice nodded and headed down to the Hospital Wing.

Pushing open the door, Alice looked around to check and see if Sebby had already gotten here. "I'm here, Miss Marni. Is Sebby here?" she asked, walking over towards where his bed usually was set up for full moons. She peeked inside to see her tucking him in, her boyfriend already fast asleep. The blonde shifted her feet a little, wondering if she should mention the fact that she'd notice Sebastian had been having issues with sleeping of late. She knew that she ought to, since she loved him something fierce, but if he hadn't mentioned it, he had to have a good reason, right? Biting her lip, Alice shifted uncomfortably, then she scooted into the area around Seb's bed and placed a kiss on his forehead. "I'll sit with him, Miss Marni. I brought my study books." The blonde dropped into the seat beside his bed and drew her Transfiguration textbook out of her purse.

Alice grinned a little when Miss Marni said she appreciated Alice sitting with Sebby, but her grin faltered when she said she wanted to ask Alice a question. She swallowed a little and nodded. Of course she could answer questions, but she was worried about what kind of questions she might have to answer. Miss Marni continued by asking about Sebby seeming more overly exhausted than normal after the moons. This is the kind of question that Alice was afraid of. The blonde glanced over at her boyfriend. She had also been worrying about his lack of sleep but thus far, every time she'd asked him about it, he always said he was fine. Alice knew when her boyfriend was lying and every time he'd said he was fine, she knew he was lying. She didn't want to push him, but she was worried about him. Now the question was, should she share her worries with Miss Marni, or should she tow the line that Seb was pushing? Still looking over at Seb, she decided to lie. "It's my fault, really. I've been having Sebby stay up late with me to help me study for finals. I've been a little neurotic about my exams." Maybe focusing Miss Marni's attention onto herself would take the heat off Sebby. And then Alice could press him again to tell her what was going on.

Of course Miss Marni was concerned for her, but if she found out how often Alice was taking the wideye potions to help her long nights of study and preparation, the teen imagined there would be a much more harsh conversation. Alice smiled and promised she'd get some rest, then set about reviewing her notes while Sebastian slept beside her. She was halfway through recatalouging her Transfiguration notes when Sebby suddenly jostled awake and thrashed about. Hurriedly, the blonde stopped where she was working on her notes and put them down, then she moved over to his bed. Miss Marni emerged a moment later and the two were able to get him to calm down. Blue eyes betrayed her worry for Sebby, but she quickly looked down at the sheets when Miss Marni glanced at her for answers. She could lie when the evidence wasn't clearly in front of her, but she'd have a much more difficult time lying when it was plainly obvious. Instead, Alice wrapped her arms around Seb's waist and laid her head against him, wordlessly offering her support to her boyfriend.
