Nudging against them, she nodded. “Hedwig of…. Adoration, interesting…” Thinking for a moment she looked up at the man holding her. “Finding a spark in a city full of magic can take some time and the older you are the weaker it gets and if it isn’t kindled it will fade and cannot be brought back.” It was the best way to explain things even if it was far more complicated than that.
“Yes, to a mirror then, follow these two if you will Hedwig.” Purring again, she was quite glad with this outcome even if she also disliked the smell of alcohol that was covering them. It wouldn’t do for them to be under Aloysius but with the hands off methods of the mirror court it would be more than alright.
“Her words are correct, as are his. If you are one to avoid stringent rules and avoid taking orders than my faction would not do well for you.” Which was a relief for him but he didn’t show it as he spoke in that slightly cold an professional tone he took up when in uniform around those that weren’t his fiance. It was best to keep up appearances, people didn’t need to know how he’d fallen apart time and time again over what he’d experienced in this war.
Taking the lead, as he knew where the mirrors were thanks to the map he had on his phone that lined up with the other’s own mental chart of mirrors. It was something he’d made sure of when they started to patrol more, making sure he kept near enough to them so that they could link back up if he was in danger. It was more likely that he would teleport to the other but keeping near mirrors meant he could check for damaged ones as well to let them know which might need replacing.

Sphere and name? He really was lost, and decided to take the time walking to ask the cat in his arms about things. “What is this talk of names and spheres? If I’m going to agree to all of this, whatever it all is, I want to know what you can tell me.” Though really he wasn’t exactly sure just how committed to this he would be, he wasn’t very good at such things. Listening to the cat speak about a spark, about how it could go out, he kept his focus on the cat's words while trying to keep one foot in front of the other and not teeter into something - he didn’t need to get hurt. Because while he sure as hell felt sober…his body had not gotten the memo.
Working together, as they did so well, the mirrors in the city were kept in good shape and replaced as needed. It left himself, and his court, with plenty of ways to travel about the city if they needed to. There had been new places found, and new mirrors left in those places, the city had more options for himself and his court. Melpomene knew it wasn’t for his court that it was done, but rather himself, but it still helped his court and made him smile when he thought about it. They were all just a bit safer in this city, as this one would be too once awoken and informed of things.
Leading the way, keeping pace with Chalcanthite, he glanced the other over. “Explain later why you feel like a Captain, I know you’re not that low in rank.” He whispered to his partner, watching just what he said, as he glanced about. No one seemed to be around, nothing of threat anyway.
“After this Dessire can get his contact information, as will I, and while we tend to his injury we can fill him in on things a bit better.” Though from the sound of it they were asking Dessire a lot already, which was good. “They’ll wake up rough in the morning.” Something his fiance knew about but no longer had to suffer, and never would again.

Swishing her tail a bit more as she considered things, she stretched a paw up to boop their face. “A name comes from the planet your powers come from, a sphere is the type or theme of your powers. People come to adore you it seems and that will help keep you safe in this city.” She could tell they would be an interesting senshi much as Melpomene was.
“You will have to get a bit closer to follow them, Melpomene has to touch you to pull you through but in the future you can travel through the city through mirrors on your own. Much as Alice steps through the looking glass to enter wonderland.” It was always fitting to her that a blonde that looked like the queen of hearts was the one to pull her curious musician through the mirror and had her smiling.
Watching carefully, she held on just a bit more as they seemed to stumble from being drunk. Other than that everything seemed to be going well as she figured the blonde was figuring out why her musician felt different than usual.
Nodding to their question he smiled and pulled the medallion from his pocket just enough so they could see it. “I found it in the Rift.” Another of the treasures he found tucked in the cracks between crystals or buried in the wasteland that he had access to as an officer.
The rest he would explain later after their new senshi was gone with some information to review. “More than rough… they may assume this was all a dream if they even remember it.” It depended on how blackout drunk they were, which was quite possible as he looked back to notice them stumbling and getting closer. That professional look came back as he turned to face the man as they all reached the mirror.
“Come along, Melpomene and I will be going along through the mirror. Stick close unless you want to get lost.” Leaning against the frame of the mirror slightly, he mentally prepared himself for that odd feeling he got when he was pulled through. Part of him wondered if his partner would warn them or just let them experience it without any preconceived notions.

“People adoring me will keep me safe, interesting….and useful.” Oh so very useful…to have people adoring him, he couldn’t help where his mind went with those thoughts. Who could blame him really? It seemed a very easy to abuse the magic, if that’s indeed what it was, and have people adoring him…all the way into his bed - or a bed.
“Alice and the looking glass, I don’t mind that idea.” Though traveling from mirror to mirror was a bit of an odd thought, especially when drunk, it made for a whimsical thought really. Magic in general was a whimsical thing though, so it was fitting.
“I’m taking it, you'll tell me the whole story once they’re home.” He spoke, eyes flickering down to the item his fiance flashed a glimpse of. Once this soon to be dark mirror senshi was off, after being tended to, he was assuming the general would explain things to both himself and Dessire. “They’ll realize the truth soon enough, that it wasn’t a dream, we’ll just have to find them and I’ll make sure they know things were real.” Because he would, before the night was over, get this person's name and then Aloysius could track them with little issue.
As he and Chalcanthite approached the mirror he waited, a hand reaching out for his partner, he turned to face the civilian who was holding Dessire. “Come, let’s get going. This won’t take long.” Using his free hand to motion them over he reached out and grasped their clothing before pulling everyone in with him - into mirror space. They’d have to get used to the odd sensation in time, just like everyone else did.

Another nod as he let them pull him through the mirror and into mirror space instead of their home in the city. White halls and white floors stretched as far as the eye could see and he stayed close as always to keep the area from shunting him back out into the city.
“Yes through the mirror and into another then we can make sure your leg is patched up nicely before sending you back off towards your home. We know your planet name but what is your name, the one people call you by?” Keeping straight to the point as he pulled his notebook out and clicked his pen quietly. He jotted down some base details of the man that stood swaying from drink, adding their height and features for now and he would do a sketch once he had a bit more time and after he got to see what their fuku looked like.
Walking with Melpomene, he was a bit excited to see how the process might work for dark mirror. It wasn’t something he knew exactly about, other than it didn’t require the same sort of painful grasping of one’s starseed. It wasn’t as bad for him as it had been for others but he figured that might have been because Laurelite might have had an idea that he hadn’t had the best of times when it came time for his promotion to General.
“Yes it is rather quaint and whimsical. Something that is a bit more suited for you I believe. Just off we go with them and then soon you’ll be back home to rest.” The rest would come once they sobered up because she had doubts on how much they might remember of this night especially with how far from normal things were. It would be so easy to write it off as a drunken fantasy.

Passing through the mirror was rather odd, and not just because he was going through a mirror, it felt like semi solid water. It was an odd feeling, the press of the water around him, but than he passed and was standing in an open area of nothing but whiteness.
“Blaise Givenchy.” Like the fashion house but not related, sadly, it was a brand he would not mind being related to and not just because the money would be good. His family had money though, a lot of it, enough to not feel it too badly when he went on a spending spree while bored. Though his family still acted as though he’d bankrupt them…and sent him here. He knew his grandfather wanted him to learn to handle things better, to be more mature and consider things first, but it wasn’t so easy.
Letting go of the soon to be mirror senshi Melpomene led the way, taking to walking in front of his partner, as he headed for the large chamber which held the golden mirror that was stood atop a small dais. “Aside from being far less strict than the Negaverse the way in which he bring our own into the court - how we awaken members. It’s a lot less painful, infact there isn’t any pain, it’s rather simple.” He would once home tell his partner about it, because it was something he hadn’t been entirely familiar with until recently. He didn’t understand the mirror coating on their starseed, and the duplicate, and all that until recently. He hadn’t needed to know and thus hadn’t known - simple as that really.
Pushing the doors open to the chamber he motioned the other towards him and once close enough he grabbed them…and pulled them along with himself. “Alright, simple really.” With Blaise up there with him, in front of the mirror, he just pushed him right into it…and through it. They did seem distressed, eyes wide, and trying to fight it as they tried not to fall into the mirror. But it really was inevitable.
When they came out they’d be powered up for the first time…a newly minted dark mirror senshi.

Hopping out of Blaise’s arms, she circled both Melpomene and Chalcanthite’s feet before sitting on the latter’s and looking up. “I figured you wouldn’t want to manage an alcoholic and Melpomene has experience in that.” Speaking gently as she looked up at the General, she watched the surface of the golden mirror for when the other would pop out.
She did almost laugh a bit at just the abruptness that the blond had pushed Blaise through the mirror. Which seemed to have a similar effect on Chalcanthite though he managed to pull a hand over his mouth to stifle the chuckle.
“A blessing it would seem, if only things could be as gentle on my end. Though I have tried to ease my agents into it, it still will always bring some level of pain I believe.” A slight frown crossed his face until the other pushed the man through the mirror.
A soft chuckle came out at the abruptness of it before he covered his mouth. “How long does it take?” Though he didn’t really need to ask as the man fell right back out a few moments later. Managing to fix his expression, he appreciated Desiree’s comments even if he had noticed her taking a slight stab at him. She, more than anyone, had a right to point out the sorry state he had been in before the mirror senshi next to him had offered a helping hand.
“Fascinating, it seems you are ready for things now Hedwig.” They were in a fuku now even if they looked more than a little disoriented. Desiree has more work to do it seemed but he was content to continue seeing how things went.
Thinking of their city home, it would be the best place to manage the rest. There was still some amenities left there since he taught lessons there but otherwise it lacked a lot of the personal touches that might lead one to figure that he was engaged to Melpomene. It would be the easiest place to handle things.

“They’ll get used to going through mirrors, they might as well get used to it now and not fear or hesitate.” Shrugging as that explained him pushing someone right through the mirror, which for him it did. You didn’t just step through the first time…most people wouldn't go doing that. It still, even after walking into mirrorspace, seemed a rather impossible task.
“Not long at all, it’s quick and painless really. I imagine order senshi deal with no pain either…we’re just cooler.” Black feathered wings and better uniforms, if you asked him. He couldn’t imagine what he’d look like in white…a really tacky cupid perhaps? It certainly wasn’t an appealing idea for him. He knew why Desiree suggested him for this, and not Chalcanthite, and he could certainly agree with her assessment of things. Not only that but his partner had enough people under his wing already. This would be his first and only at this point, he could manage it.
Watching as they came out, powered up and all, he took note of the uniform for a moment. “Fits the sphere.” They all did in one way or another…even his own. Bleeding hearts suited his uniform.
Coming out of the mirror his face was flush, not pleased with being shoved right into a mirror, he took time in orienting himself before staring at the blond. “You didn’t need to push me, I’m sure of that.” He certainly didn’t sound annoyed, though he was trying to look it, Hedwig couldn’t manage to pull off being annoyed and the look on his face wasn’t quite right either. He wasn’t pleased though…that was for sure, but just how displeased was the question. “I could have just walked in if you’d told me.”
Now as he spoke he was looking himself over…it wasn’t bad. At least the colors worked and it wasn’t over the top either. It all worked, even the flowers…how it all fit adoration he didn’t know but the colors worked as did the decoration. “I can approve the outfit.” As if he had a choice.
“Now what?”

Standing back up as they popped back through the mirror she smiled and circled their feet as she brushed her tail against their leg. “Now we get you to a safe house so they can see to your leg and get you some more information while I set up your henshin pen, the item that will allow you to access your power.”
Stretching up, she was ready to get carried back through the mirror to the home in the city. It wouldn’t be hard for her to hide all three of them, though she found it odd that Chalcanthite felt like a Captain instead of a General. It wasn’t important why at the moment as she had work to do.
“But would you have walked through it? Most would have the sense to believe a mirror was solid and not attempt it. We can head out now, it seems that Desiree would like you to carry her again.” Just a slight smile came through his otherwise professional and slightly cold demeanor before he turned to start heading back towards the hall of mirrors with Melpomene so they could manage this next bit. After that he would explain things and maybe ask for a bit of attention to distract him from that gnawing itch that was growing each time he got a wiff of the alcohol on the brand new mirror senshi.
It was uncomfortable and hand him rubbing at his throat as his back was turned to them all. He knew he couldn’t drink, shouldn’t drink, but it was hard with how sloshed the man was. By avoiding things as a whole it had been manageable but this was very much in his face much as the party in the Negaverse had been. At least this time the night wouldn’t end with Mel harassing him when he was already struggling.

Bending, very slowly and very carefully, Hedwig was trying his best not to fall flat on his damn face. Stumbling, especially due to the cat's weight, he finally managed to straighten himself with her in his arms. “Ok, let’s go…” Because he really needed to get home and sleep…this was a long night, longer than he’d planned on it being. He had planned on being home, and in bed, already.
Following the other two, once again, Hedwig kept close to them especially as they approached another mirror. He would in time get used to this…he had to - right? The cat mentioned traveling mirror to mirror so that meant he’d need to get used to that.from now on. It didn’t feel pleasant though, almost made him a bit sick really.
As Hedwig got closer he heard them answer his partner - They would have. How interesting, it was a good answer though even if it might not be true. “Good answer. You’ll get used to walking through mirrors then, without needing to be pushed into them.” Looking from Hedwig to his partner he knew they had to be having issues…because you could smell it on the other.
When they got to the mirror he reached out to grasp both Chalcanthite and Hedwig and pull them through the mirror and right into the city home of Aloysius. “Alright, let’s handle the injury, Dessire and I will handle information and then home for you. I’ll find you tomorrow night - to remind you that this isn’t a dream.”
