Kellye 8 He knew that it would be easier on them both once they were on the road. This was why he had prepacked almost everything. He frabbed a few things to read while he waited it had been a sweet but awful torture last time.l and he wasnt about to make that mistake again this time. Sooner than his sweet wifey could have imagined they were mounted up and off and on their way.
Thoraka had been sent a not from thrm both together in one package telling him what was going on and that he would soon be a big brother to a small someone.
His heart raced and he wondered if they would be blessed with a boy or a girl. It mattered not which to him so long as they were healthy and happy that would be what their world revolved around until the new child was as grown up as Thoraka was and then they would only worry a tinsy bit less. That was parenting, constant worry all the time but thr joy wrapped in all thr crazy was worth it.

As it turned out the first road they tried was blocked after a fierce windstorm. A blockage that they could not easily get around due to its critical location. They decided to continue along the next best way but it would delay them somewhat, they quickened the pace determined not to let this new child down. Their next problem came with a pack of hungry radaku. There were too many hungry members for this region and they had to disuade the pack from making unfortunate action against them.
It took a few bonked noggins to realize that these two were not in their best interests. They followed the pair for a while but eventually got bored of their troublesome quarry and ran off in search of greener pasture. "Odd that there are so many around, I wonder if something happened elsewhere to push more here?" Oh well so long as they left them alone that was all that mattered.

Stoicly they continued on through whatever the jungle threw at them. On and on, step after step they continued on inexoribly toward their singular goal; a great mother tree and a bud about to bloom. They stopped only long enough to eat enough to continue at their great pace. They hunted and roasted their catches, foraging enough greens, tubers and berries to sustain them on this great venture. They camped at last light and slept until dawn and as the light broke over the land they continued. Or so it felt like it probably wasn't quite this long they were just that excited. Finally they reached the point where he had to wait. A wall of sisters stood before him. There they said their heartfelt goodbyes. Every day he loved this woman more and it tore him up that he could not escort her further but he respected the alkidike's customs and his wife's love for her people and her goddess so here he would wait. He dove for his reading pile.

Zuella 10
As always her heart broke to leave her husband, her mate, her one true love But they both knew that it was for a very good cause. They both had tears in their eyes by the time they parted from teach others company. She rode on and then sailed to the area where she could wait. Her future before her. She spent most of the trip praying for health and longevity for their new child. As she travelled she remembered each moment of picking up Thoraka. By now the new bloom was likely open and the new child being tended by Aisha's closest sisters while they waited for her arrival. She quickened the pace. Finally she reached the spot where she too had to wait. Then heart beating faster and faster the moments ticked by.
It was misty but soon she could see a silhouette approaching through the haze of suspended water. An adult carrying a preciuos blanketed bundle!

Kellye 10 He read until his eyes burned and then he paced until his feet hurt. This was not their first rodeo but that didn't seem to be making the process any easier on his nerves in general. Soon there would be tiny feet pattering and tiny hands gripping his thumb. Thoraka's hands by now were bigger than his son was also much taller than him already, though thankfully he still respected his Dad. He supposed he had been a decent role model thank the gods. Their son had spirit and for a while he thought it could go either way. He was so proud, they were so happy. And now they would be all but bioluminescent with joy. He hoped that Thoraka was prepared for all the changes to come. He was certainly excited about getting a sibling. He couldn't wait for them to meet for the first time but he also wanted to meet their new child for the first time. He knew that Zuella's travel with a new born would be slow, she would be super careful and then they could all go home to Thoraka together.
Finally after much waiting he got to see her approach, big grin on her face, bundle in arm and he rushed to meet her and their new baby!
