Hmmm..what can I add to this sadly under-used thread?
The Magician's Companion is not so much something to make a solid read as it is an excellent reference and correspondence text. He painstakingly has indexed and related various models of the universe to one another.
My most recent read was The Way Back to Paradise: Restoring the Balance Between Magic and Reason. At some points he seems to get a tad New-Agey, but as the book unfolds you realize that it wasn't as much. He's a PhD in Philosophy, but eats up books on Native American Shaman, Jungian Psychology, and plenty of the older parapsychologists and occultists. Talks a lot about alchemy in there, too. I like this guy. I really do.
