All Xihe had to do really was to simply pluck the creature off the smaller senshi. It wouldn't be nice of her to simply leave him in a bind since she was the one that suggested he act as a beacon to draw the insect's attention away from what she had been doing to its nest. Now that she was on the ground it took her a matter of seconds to slowly approach the boy and grimace in realization that her hands were going to be covered in the secretion if she simply reached out to grab it like she had planned on doing. A section of her fuku moved into her line of vision and she sighed before tearing off a piece of the translucent fabric that represented to her, a cicada's wing. She tore it into a second piece to wrap around both of her hands before she reached out to pluck the creature off of Totoro's open hand. It had apparently decided to grab the offering of the apple as it was secured in the creature's mandibles.

Throwing it just wouldn't do. Xihe glanced at the now squirming insect before moving to kick it like one would drop-kick a soccer ball. With the concentration aspect of the move in mind Xihe dropped the squirming thing and winced as her foot made sufficient contact to launch the thing far, far away from where she stood.

Unwrapping her hands Xihe glanced to the other senshi before she sighed. "I think I owe you an apology kid. Didn't think it'd be able to do something like it obviously can. You ok?"

The creature didn't appreciate the ends of the fleshy tree moving and it let out a strange hiss before turning back to the sweet object that was offered on the surface of the tree's strange bark. Even as it skittered to settle over the offering before picking it up in its mandibles. The sudden sensation of being plucked off the surface of what it had landed on startled the creature enough that it offered no resistance to the rough handling it was getting.

What seemed like an eternity later, but it truth was only seconds, did the creature find itself getting the roughest treatment it had ever known to remember as it was launched unceremoniously into the far distance.

There was something in just how casual-like the other senshi dropped to the ground in order to rid his hands of the goop that covered them. Her own hands grasped at the bottle of water that was held out to her to open before she took some pity on the kid. Unscrewing the cap she passed the container back to him so that he'd be able to hopefully thoroughly get the insect secretion off. Considering the unpleasantness that she was experiencing Xihe could only assume what direct contact would have done for a longer duration of time.

For a moment Xihe considered all options that were open to take before realizing that her ally, for the time being, had a good point. It was better to get the heck out of dodge before that thing decided to come back. With her rather rough treatment given out the insect for sure wouldn't be pleased to see them again.

"I concur with your assessment both on the goop factor and getting out of here. I have no desire anymore to try and see if these things might've had any use but clearly I don't think they can be reasoned with."

With that Xihe passed the piece of fabric that she had torn off her uniform earlier to the younger senshi before she simply turned away from him. "I am sorry, and I hope your hands feel better soon. ... bye"

Xihe took off. It was for the best after giving the short apology that she had.
