Ekstrom tensed at the small truth just presented to her: she owed someone of Chaos a favor.
It was a position she never thought she would be in, if only because she never thought she’d ever have reason to ally with anyone aligned with Chaos.Yet here she was, being made to promise that she would repay the debt. And she was inclined to; it wasn’t in her to leave any debts unpaid, but she’d be lying if she said she was perfectly comfortable with it.
Still.
Perhaps it was the senshi’s weakened state that softened her a little more to the idea. She did say she wouldn’t ask for much, and while she imagined that could be twisted any which way to her disadvantage she still found herself nodding.
“I promise. Might be tricky to get a hold of me, but we could arrange a meeting spot sometime in the future? If you just want simple truths about something, I can’t promise I’ll have the answers you want or need but I’ll try my best.” She sounded hesitant, but there was sincerity in her voice.

Ooops. That misunderstanding was on her. Meissa shook her head once and regretted the action before she attempted to clarify, "no, what I meant is, and this is a truth from me, was that I might require a task from you. But who knows, it could be answers to questions I might have, but also, it could be something else entirely."
Meissa looked beyond the Page before realizing that she didn't even know what she could call her. Fixing her eyes back onto the symbol that was apparent on the uniform the corrupt reached up in an attempt to touch the symbol before drawing back, "what's your name? I would understand if you don't want to tell me but I'm just curious. And that symbol, Mercury?"
Something flickered in her expression then before she sighed, "I think if we were to meet back up here on an evening that you wouldn't be inconvenienced by, that I could seek my payment then. Sort of a same time, same place kinda deal? I will promise you now that you won't be in any danger from me."

Ekstrom’s eyes widened slightly when Meissa clarified, but she nodded her head all the same. “Got it,” she said quickly, not wanting the girl to exhaust herself in case she thought she needed to explain herself beyond what she’d already done.
“Ekstrom,” came her response to the next question, and she offered her glove so Meissa could get a closer look at the symbol if she wanted. She wouldn't mind if she wanted to touch it, either. Frankly she always thought they were pretty cool, both their look and feel. “And yes, a Mercury page. Am I the first you’ve seen, or…?”
Glancing around, it seemed as good a place as any–an empty, open space with some light and a place to sit. So again she nodded. “Thank you for promising that,” she started, a small smile now gracing her features. “As for when…any night, really. I can just make the time, it’s no big deal. What about you?”

Was Ekstrom the first Mercury knight she'd seen? Meissa made a small sound before deciding that it was better to be candid. There were not many powered individuals that she could remember besides Beatrix, "I think you are the first member of the knight order I've come across at all. I certainly don't remember any others."
Meissa took the offered glove that Ekstrom handed over to her before she closed her eyes for a moment. The name, rank, and allegiance information would be an interesting addition to the database but so far besides owing a debt, there wasn't anything that would be beneficial to others to read. This incident then, would stay on the down low. No one would need to know what she was doing.
"Ekstrom of Mercury," she murmured before straightening up, "Meissa of Bobcats. As for meeting back up. How about we go three nights from now for meeting back up, say ten pm?"
As long as she wasn't busy with her roommate there'd be no reason that she couldn't make the arranged meeting time and place.

”Sometimes I wonder just how many knights are really out there,” she said quietly–mostly to herself, actually–tone wistful but honest. In her time as a knight the others that she’d come across were certainly few and far between. She could probably count the ones she’d met on her two hands; that thought, whenever it crossed her mind, made her feel particularly alone. Wasn’t she supposed to have allies in this war?
What kind of a difference could she make on her own?
The page sighed as she shoved the thought away, wanting to be focused on this current conversation. If she wasn’t careful, she’d agree to something ridiculous or dangerous without realizing it.
“Bobcats?” She sounded more fascinated than she did scared of what her powers were capable of. “Not that I’m interested in getting a taste of what you can do, but that's kinda neat.” Her usual cheeriness bubbled to the surface for a moment, and she managed a small smile. “Anyway, three nights from now, ten o’clock. I’ll be there.”
With the when and where decided, Ekstrom took her glove back when Meissa seemed done with it, but hung around until she was absolutely sure that the other could sit up on her own. When she was, she got up, turned and waved goodbye, and then headed off. Not for home, though. Not just yet. She wasn’t quite done with her patrol for the night.
Or maybe she was feeling a little restless about suddenly being indebted to someone on the other side.
