The cheers quickly changed to boos as Trent was choking out poor Kodiak on the barricade. Kody tries to fight the foot off his throat but, it wasn't happen currently. The trials of high flyers. Live by the fire. Die by the fire.

Trent kept the choke in place for a solid few seconds, only breaking it to plant a stomp into the chest of the smaller competitor. Showcasing his dominance through sheer power alone since he regained control of the match.
Drogan: "The former world champion taking liberties."
Nigel: "This is the reason he isn't the World Champion anymore. He needs to keep his head check."

Kodiak was able to breath after Trent removed his foot from his throat. But, only for it to slam into his chest! Kody rolls onto stomach holding his chest while kicking one foot on the ground in pain.

The former world champ would double over, looking to bring Kodiak back to his feet once more, to slide him back inside the ring. Handling him like a bag of garbage on his way from off the padding, all the way from the toss inside the ring.
He would even wipe his hands after the toss in for further humiliation.

Kodiak was thrown into the ring yesterday trash. Kody stumbles to his feet to the ropes on the other side of the ring holding his chest and neck area. Still feeling the effects of Trent's foot on his throat.

Climbing the steps, Trent would enter the ring following Kodiak. Trying to keep the consistent pressure on the barely standing foe. Throwing a fist at the man in order to do so.

Kody turns to see where Trent was at and got a lovely present for his efforts. That present? It was a hard right cross from Trent directly into his jaw. Kody falls down to one knee hold his jaw from the punch.

The strike would connect, sending the foe to a knee and holding his jaw. Trent, however, wouldn't let the man stay at a kneel for too long. Helping the guy to his feet, Trent looked to whip Kodiak off the ropes, and looked to catch him on the way back for a nasty spinebuster near the center of the ring!

Kodiak seeing stars and birds floating around his head was in no position to prevent anything that might be coming his way. Kody was whipped across the ring and into the ropes and back. By the time Trent was picking Kody up high for the spinebuster. It was around the same time the stars and birds disappeared for Kody. Kodiak was slam back first from wicked spinebuster from the former champion.

The spinebuster connected, Trent would float over the downed Kodiak, looking to go into the pinfall, hooking both legs of the opponent.

Trent would get pushed off into a seated position. A bit disgruntled at the resiliency of the competition. Trent would just simply rotate toward his opponent and look to throw some strikes at the head of Kodiak.

Kody did his best to cover up his face to protect his face from onslaught of punches coming towards him. The former champion is truly taking his anger out on poor Kody.
The crowd erupts into boos for the treatment the former champion is dishing out in spades.

The crowd were huffing and puffing but it meant nothing. Trent would prove that as he grabbed Kodiak by the hair, pulling himself and the man to each other's feet. Once there, Trent would pull in Kodiak and look to deliver a powerbomb center stage to put their thoughts of a comeback away for good.

As Trent brought Kody up to his knees off the mat. Kodiak attempts to drive his elbow into Trent's stomach. If this works, Kodiak would attempt to drive Trent head first into the mat going for a quick spike DDT!
