The savage boss approaches,
Strategy is key.A sudden gust of wind burst forth from the adult-level insect Digimon, catching Monami off guard. She quickly raised her arms to shield her eyes from the sharp breeze. Fanbeemon, too, struggled to stay grounded against the force of the wind. Despite their efforts, both Monami and Fanbeemon suffered some damage. In response, the Tamer urged Fanbeemon to fight back, shouting, "Fanbeemon, show them what you've got!" Fanbeemon shook off the impact and focused its energy. Its wings started to vibrate rapidly, heating up the air around it. Simultaneously, its antennae began to emit a red glow. With determination, the child-level Digimon commanded, "88 Call!" The heated air transformed into eighty-eight tiny ethereal bees, forming a swarm that darted toward Kuwagamon. The tiny insects were poised to unleash a barrage of stings on their opponent. Aqua was still in mid air when the counter attack came through from the Insectoid Digimon, her eyes widened as it roared and unleashed its 'Trapping Scissors' attack and that sphere of wind blades spread out around them all. She lifted up her arms to defend herself but since the Jellymon was in mid air it would have been that much harder to protect her Jelly-Like body. Ethan seeing this had jumped upwards into the air and wrapped his arms around his Digimon, " Not a chance in hell you're taking the full brunt of that! " He tilted their bodies so that the damage was spread between the two of them and once they landed back onto the ground they both let out a sigh feeling like it didnt hurt nearly as bad as it could have thanks to that last second defensive action.
" Okay.. Lets not stay in mid air for too long... Allright. Next strike! Lets go!" The Brown haired Tamer released Aqua from his arms and she nodded, before turning a embarrassed glare to the direction of the big red bug Digimon. She rose up her hands and charged forward, she'd be getting up close and personal next and hopefully itll be easier for her to avoid some damage when in that position as she let out a loud voice," Dont embarrass me in front of my Tamer! Bibi Thunder! " She let out a similar attack as before, letting electricity surge through her arms and at the enemy Digimon.
Meanwhile, Parish moved around on the ground, trying to find a good position to lend more of a hand and increase their fighting changes so to speak.

Jayzen's attack was a direct hit, the monster roared in anger as it absorbed blows from all directions. It seemed that Tamers all over the arena had decided to battle the invader. Lief could feel himself getting excited again, maybe they stood a chance against this thing. He had managed to free his clothing from the chairs, "Alright then! Jayzen, change of plans!! Let's squash this bug!!" Pteromon who was still hovering above the tamer let out a roar of his own in agreement with Lief.
Lief glanced around at the other Digimon and Tamers rushing towards the red armored insectoid. It was only at that moment it occurred to him how strange Digimon were, all sorts of shapes and sizes. He was loving this world already even if this first boss seemed awfully soon in the game. "Lief, heads up, here come another one!!" The DIgimon had been reading a large ball of wind that he released throughout the stadium. Both Tamer and Digimon put their arms up over their face as the wind blades sliced at their mostly defenseless bodies. The force of the blow knocked Pteromon out of the air and Lief down to one knee. "Ughh.... Jayden!! Are you ok??" The green avian pushed back up off the ground as quick as he could, determined to return fire. "Ugh... yep, don't worry about me, I can do this all day!!" Jay was back up in the air and preparing his next attack by forming a tiny vortex with his wings. "You ate that last round pretty well... since you like breakfast so must... try some lunch!! Wiiind Sliceeerrr!! Huuhh!!" The vortex launched toward the villain with a flick of Pteromon's wings expanding as it grew closer to its intended target.

Things for Camden rushed past her like a blur. Still internally reeling from meeting her new partner, not Terriermon like she had hoped, she had tuned out most of what excitement was going on around her. The digimon, kindly introducing himself to her as Bosamon, had been pointing at various things around the zone, but Camden felt too caught up in her thoughts to listen. From wandering into the festival crowd, to momentarily winding up on a stand only to skip off in a embarassed rush. She found herself trying to breathe, which felt strange since she was in a virtual reality, but being in her own head, her thoughts, she could barely hear the voice calling for her until she finally heard him,"W...wa' 'hat Gum-I men...Bosamon?"
Bosamon smiled, seemingly unaware of Camden's slip, "We're going to miss the opening cermony, I'd love to see what they have planned," he ended with pointing towards the colliseum, clearly a center of revelry right now. Camden formed a half smile and nodded, "Ai, let's go an' see what they have in store..."
Though the walk was quick, what happened next proved to be even quicker. Not long after entering the colliseum and looking for seats had Dr. Ava appeared overhead on the screens to welcome everyone. Camden rushed around to find someone to sit, or stand at this point, but she paused as a shrill scream fill Ava's broadcast. Camden's legs shook as the vision of a large red bug descended towards the arena,"Camden, get down!" Bosamon bounced against Camden to push her to the ground the debris from the large Digimon came towards them. Camden covered her face with crossed arms. Shakily she managed to hear the announcement, "A test? But we just met?!" she bit back what she was about to say, but Bosamon stood before her, calm and collected for such a small digimon, "I promise to protect you my tamer, EARDRUM!"

KUWAGAMONxxxHP: ████████████████████ 50/ 100xxxThe sound of sirens filled the air. They were an attempt to call back the moderator Digimon in charge of the sector. Instead of confronting the menacing insect, some tamers in the stands chose to flee. The Ugoku Gaming team frantically communicated on their devices to contain the chaos. Several staff members were tasked with guiding the audience towards the exits. Meanwhile, a group of burly staff members surrounded Dr. Ava, signaling for her to step back. She wasn't having it. The women exclaimed, "If they're not leaving, then neither am I!"Kuwagamon was bombarded with a barrage of assaults, each one hitting its mark with precision. The onslaught consisted of Bubble breath, slicing air, electric current, and sharp needles. As the attacks connected, a section of the large Digimon burst into flames. In a turn of events, two of its arms transformed into streams of data and vanished. To extinguish the fire, the insect-like creature violently shook its exoskeleton. Filled with anger and pain, the Digimon rose to its towering height and unleashed a deafening roar. FROAAAAA!As if the roar called to the very air in the vicinity it attempted, Trapping Scissors: Shadow Slash! With another crunch of its mandibles the wind in the area stirred once more. Air currents from the previous assault began to spiral back in towards the boss. It was a two-step attack! The blades of wind sucked back in towards the boss like a vacuum, assailing the contestants from the back rather than the front. The resulting attack caused a massive amount of air pressure to gather around the boss, as if to once again gather air currents for a future purpose. (The boss's sneak attack causes it to deal extra damage! 6 HP is dealt this turn. Roll those D4 dice to mitigate!) xxx

Camden felt utterly gobsmacked watching Bosamon attack in her defense. The small Digimon's attack did little to the giant adversary as the wind attack the creature created sent Bosamon back against the ground. Camden had attempted to catch him, but the impact too quick. She held the small fluff in her arms and felt like she would cry at any moment,"Why would you do that? Why...why would you defend me when I've been the worst tamer ever to you?!" She wiped her eyes as if to stall any tears if they had escaped and continued, "You got me as a tamer as an accident...but maybe Terriermon didn't wanna see anymore either..."
Bosamon's ears quickly slapped Camden's face between them, bringing her focus to him, "There are no accident, my tamer," he hopped out of her hands to prepare and face the Kuwagamon again, "The randomness, like fate, makes up most of life, and we must turn while on it's winding road. We found each other on that road and I'm happy to see where we travel," as he spoke, his body began to pixelate and spread out in size, the blur of the twisting pixels and digital code was familiar to the girl, he was digivolving. She looked at her watch to confirm the very thing, but was he truly okay with doing this for her sake?
His size grew, and grew, much larger than she could've thought. In his place was a large, cream colored rabbit with the fluffiest fluff she had ever seen, real life or digital world. Her eyes went wide and read aloud the name her watch now displayed, "Angoramon...are you sure?" The large rabbit turned and gave her a goofy shaped grin, "Anything for my tamer!"
His ears rose and began to spin like a helicopter top, taking the large rabbit's body skyward and closer towards the enemy. Angoramon scowled at Kuwagamon and clenched his fists,"DOUBLE LARIAT!" His spinning overtook his entire body, fists out, as he intercepted Kuwagamon's body and struck him repeatedly with his fists.

'Holy crap!' Aqua and Ethan both couldnt help but think as that burst of wind came barreling from behind them, even with Ethan moving away from his Digimon in a effort to find a good position to attack from felt that cutting wind build up pressure and wrap around the two. He lifted one arm of his own and tried to block the winds, while Jellymon spun around in defense, making sure that she was able to handle the attack that had come at her. Her own little wind tunnel to protect herself a bit, although she could only block so much using it. Afterwards she landed back onto the ground, and glaring at the Red Digimon she looked at her Tamer who returned the gaze and gave her a nod.
Jellymon slammed her fists together, letting electricity charge around them a she then dove forward bravely similarly to the giant fluffy Bunny digimon who was doing its own physical attack, slamming her fists into the big bug she yelled out the name of her attack,"Volt Knuckle!" As she slammed both fists into its big body repeatedly.
Meanwhile her tamer was getting fed up, he was going to do something reckless once the boss attacks again.

It was another direct Jayzen and his and multiple other attacks connected at the same time. "Yeah! Good job Jay, show him what we're made of!!" This bird Digimon made a quick loop in the air and flew close to his tamer. The rejoicing was short lived those as the injured brute bounced back quickly. As it opened its jaw Lief shouted towards his partner, "Brace yourself, here he comes again!!"
Both tamer and Digimon dove towards the stage and put their backs up against the platform to try and avoid some of the attack, Pteromon covered them both with his wings and tail. While waiting for impact Lief looked around at the other Tamers who were fighting back. Closest to them was a man dressed in brown with what appeared to be a hedgehog, a hooded figure with a green plant or something, which seemed weird but Jayzen started as the yolk of an egg so not to strange.
As he was looking around Lief suddenly realized that no attack was coming from the opponent. He could see the dust surrounding them was starting to pick up. The tamer slide his goggles down over his eyes, just as the attack erupted all around them catching everyone off guard.
"Ahhhhh!!" The force sucked the Tamer and Digimon up into the air a few feet before allowing them to crash back to the ground. Pteromon lay crumpled on the ground,under his Tamer as he had used his body to absorb the blow "Pteromon!! Are you ok?" Lief quickly rolled off of his new friend. Jay lifted his head and shook it around to stop the spinning."Y..yeah, I think i'll be ok, but now I'm getting angry!!" As the little Digimon pushed up off the ground and looked Lief in the eyes he could see a fire building behind the glossy firebrick eyes.
Pteromon turned back towards the bug and shot up towards him like a rock from a slingshot. "You like to hit my friends, let's see how you feel about getting squashed!! Pteromon extend it's talons aimed directly at the marking in the middle of the monsters head. "Take a Rumble Claw to the face!!!"

However, their elation was short-lived as Kuwagamon let out a deafening roar, redirecting the sharp wind from its previous assault back towards them. Caught off guard by the unexpected flanking attack, both the Digimon and their tamer stumbled forward, covered in a cloud of dust. Determined to regain their footing, they quickly rose to their feet. Monami swiftly brushed off Fanbeemon and then herself, eager to retaliate. "Let's unleash a Gear Stinger," she exclaimed. With a confident nod, the insect Digimon hovered above the ground and skillfully launched another precisely aimed stinger from its abdomen toward Kuwagamon. A vicious attack,
