“What do you mean stealing plants?” Already he was tinkering with the others phone, asking for the password so he could unlock it, he went about poking at the icon he needed and tapping his name into the phone as well as his phone number. Hitting the save button he offered the phone back to the other. “We can, if you want, order a case for it tomorrow. Or we can go to the mall to pick one up, so if you drop it the phone won’t break.” Something rubber and good for handling the shock of hitting a solid floor might do, though he kept a fairly unique case on his own phone.

“Space is odd as well. I figure it’s safe to say that any planet is odd to someone who isn’t from that planet.” Much as he disliked thinking of space, and his boring homeworld, Ian was also certain what he was saying was true.

“But what makes Earth odd?”

Fidgeting slightly, Sasha’s eyes wandered as he tried to think. “Flowers behind bars are not to take.” Mumbling as he paraphrased what the feline had said. It wasn’t something he liked but he wasn't from here so he would have to learn the rules.

Watching as they messed with the device he was amazed by how quickly they were doing things with it and going through the different screens and menus one after another. “Oh…. Case?” He didn’t know what that meant or what a mall was but he understood the rest of the sentence. So this thing wouldn’t work anymore if he dropped it on the ground like something that was made of glass and would break on impact.

“Plants are… owned? Not shared.” Furrowing his brow as he thought, he coughed slightly from all the talking. It was still rough and he never had been one much for talking even back home. Written correspondence had always been his preferred method then except on a few occasions.

“So few trees, big big structures…. And… people who feel familiar but aren’t who they were…” Looking at Ian directly now he frowned a bit and kept that space between them. It was something he wanted to figure out because he still missed that person and he saw things in Ian that reminded him of them.

“Behind bars…a fence?” He questioned before closing his eyes. “That’s because it’s someones yard. But they have places where you can go see plants, you might be able to collect from those places at night.” When no one was there. They had parks plus gardens and arboretums where people could see all kinds of flora. “I’ll show you cases tomorrow, we’ll go look to find you one.”

As Sasha spoke Ian was learning a bit, figuring out what the other must have grown up with. “So people don’t own property…like where others don’t go onto the property? No yards to go with homes?” That was an interesting concept for him, something foreign, he couldn’t picture that being a thing here on Earth - assuming he was right about this.

“If you go to parks, the woods outside the city, you’ll find a lot more trees. Cities don’t have as many - not enough room. Too many people, hence the large buildings, it’s needed for room for people to live.” Were cities not like that on the others planet? Large with tall buildings? Did they just not have the population for that? “I’ll explain things more tomorrow to you. But what else did the cat teach you? Was there anything you really wanted to know more about?”

“Fence? Hrm… made of….” Looking at Ian he had an idea and pointed at the bits of shiny material on their face. “Orichalcum?” It wasn’t the right color though, but it was so long ago he could barely remember. Everything seemed confusing to him but he listened and tried to remember it all.

“Forests, I live there but… outside.” Trying to think again he fiddled with his hands in the front pocket of the hoodie he was wearing. “Different… shared places but the forest did as it pleased.” Pausing between words as he bumbled his way through talking, it felt odd because he knew Amel had been there, and had seen things just as he had seen their world.

“I want to go… and to… Chaldene again.” More than anything he wanted to see what had happened to the other planet since his own had been choked of life. If they weren’t the same then did that mean their world was destroyed as well? He didn’t like that thought and curled up a bit more as his mind wandered through things, barely hearing what they were saying at first but then jolting slightly as he realized they’d asked him questions.

“Oh… Julienne told me humans have two names.” Shifting his hands back out of the hoodie pocket he smiled. “Sasha Bach, is it okay?” Since he’d been borrowing clothing then maybe that would be okay to borrow too. The cat hadn’t really asked any questions about it at the time as they explained a bit.

“Can… this communicate like a letter?” Looking down at the phone he would rather write it all out than talk. It was easier at least for now.

“So metal then…yes a fence.” Assuming, by what the other was pointing at on his face, that they were talking about metal. The word they used wasn’t one he knew, or had ever heard before, but it certainly sounded like a fence they were talking about. So they’d been trying to get plants from someones yard, yes that would be considered theft to most.

He slowly, as the other managed the language issues, figured out what they were talking about. Ian was gathering that they had lived outside in the forests rather than in some home - like people here had. Out in the open with the elements…or so he was gathering and hoping was right. It did explain why the other didn’t understand the ideas of owning property and fences and such, this could lead to some issues, but in time he might be able to help the other with understanding things on this planet. There was just a lot to explain to them.

“Chaldene…I haven’t been there in months…maybe longer.” He didn’t go there that often, the place was honestly boring to him, he didn’t see the point. Not only that but travel was a nuisance to say the least. Using a little boat which he had to paddle in order to get around, and somehow not get lost and find his way back - no thank you. “Maybe…” Maybe in time he’d take the other there, despite his own dislike of the place, but anything else he was going to say he choked on as the other explained what the mauvian had also taught them…and the name choice.

“Bach?” Questioning he buried his face in his pillow for a moment, hiding his coloring cheeks at what that implied and would imply to anyone who heard there last names together. “Sharing last names means we’re a family…somehow.” He whispered, looking up at the other slowly as he turned his face to look at them.

“Y-yheah…it can.” Pulling open the notepad section so they could type…and he could read things. “

So metal was the word now, it was still interesting to see that they had bits of it in their face. He’d wondered if they hurt but then he’d see them messing with it like it randomly. “Oh okay.” So the metal fence was a boundary to keep people out and people kept things to themselves here.

“Oh… maybe one day? For me?” Because he wasn’t sure if he could get there on his own after so long and with how everything had changed. Startled a bit by the sound they made and then them hiding their face, he moved in a bit to make sure they were okay. “Ah! Sorry, is it bad?” A short little yelp as he felt bad for offending them.

Seeing their face and then the phone offered back, he looked at the open screen that had letters on half of it. Poking them, he saw as the corresponding letter he tapped appeared up on the top of the screen. Nodding, he got the hang of it a bit quicker and stared down into the lit screen as he tapped away at it.

I thought it would be okay since you let me stay here and wear your things. I didn’t know it was something that was bad or reserved for something else.

Looking up at them he scrunched his face up and then looked back down to type a bit more, it was a lot easier like this and it seemed the device knew how things were supposed to be spelled now and he was picking up a bit on that as it corrected things for him as he went.

I used to go to Chaldene often and Amel came to Erinome to visit too. I didn’t get many visitors otherwise, just some of the people who wanted to hear what I saw from the forest and provide them with the plants to make medicine. But it was more about what I could do and not who I was except with Amel.

That typed, he handed the phone over to them and pulled his hands back into the hoodie pouch, fiddling with his hands in the warm pocket as he watched and waited.

“So the bond back then, with Amel, made us close.” He understood that. But close enough to use his last name now? Why not some random last name, had the mauvian even offered or suggested any last names? He did doubt it and he was certain the other hadn’t thought to ask either.

“If people think we’re close in age, or see us together often enough, they’ll think we are married if they hear us using the same last name since we don’t look alike and certainly don’t look related to each other.” He knew people would think it, he would if he were in some outsiders shoes looking at them. “I-I don’t mind…I understand why you’d use my last name. We were once friends, in a past life for me and not all that long ago for you.” Well maybe a long time ago, a thousand years was a very long time, but was it long for the other? How did aliens judge time plus what was the others life span and how long was an earth year to a year for them? There were a few factors to take into account and he did ponder them for a moment, he couldn’t help it, but he didn’t have those answers and wasn’t sure he wanted them right now.

“I can….take you to Chaldene sometime soon…I just find the place boring and lacking. It’s time consuming traveling anywhere and then getting lost on the way back. It’s very much not worth the travel.” But if the other wanted to go….he couldn’t see the harm in it really.

Nodding, he pulled the hoodie up to cover his face partially. His own face was warming at the mention of a bond with Amel but they’d missed the mark it seemed by assuming they were friends. It felt like it had been more than that but he’d always been quiet so maybe things were different. It was easy to remember the past before everything seemed to fall to pieces but that long sleep of his had been a dark blip of emptiness until he’d felt that pull to escape.

The mention of marriage had him hiding his face more, that wasn’t something he’d figured it meant at first when he’d picked the last name. “Ah, sorry…” Only peeking back out of the hoodie as they said they didn’t mind, he still felt a bit bad about it all but hoped that things were fine.
Looking back down at his phone, he started typing on it again at the mention of the other’s planet.

I can help, I’ve been there before and remember it well. It was peaceful there when I went, little firefly-like things helped those who wandered. Wisps? I think it’s worth the travel and I can help you not get lost?

Showing them what he’d typed, his cheeks were still a bit pink as he pouted a bit. He really wanted to go there, wanted to see what remained and maybe see if he could find any traces of Amel maybe.

Watching the other hide their face, like a child might do, Ian just laughed and shook his head. It really was amusing, he couldn’t help it, the other was small and new and innocent enough that they just seemed like a child..a pre-teen perhaps. Or maybe someone who’d just hit the teenage years. He really wasn’t sure, those years had been a while ago for himself, he hadn't exactly been the normal average teenager so it was a bit hard to judge. He had never been the sort to behave like that but he’d seen it, he knew he had.

Eyeing the phone screen he nodded slowly. “That’s fine…I suppose it’ll help. Even if things are tedious there. It’s boring…” He’d grown up with technology and his homeworld totally lacked it - there was nothing to do there. It was even worse than if Earth were hit with some apocalypse. At least they still had technology and could scrounge together things to make stuff. His home planet was sticks and water and plants…it was useless really.

“No wisps around right now.” At least none that he’d seen the last time he’d been there. “It’s far too easy to get lost there with the turns and all the reeds and trying to see over and around them while seated in a little boat.” But he’d go with the other if they wanted to see what remained of the planet, which wasn’t much. “I didn’t really think about it…but you’re also a senshi of a jupiter moon…way back, when I first powered up, I think there was a group of them…a small group. I haven’t seen anyone in ages, since I don’t power up, but they might still be around…I’m certain they are.” Hadn’t he heard Ganymede was a royal now - a princess. He might have even seen that….maybe?

“Jupiter knights also…I remember a few of them…” Yawning as he spoke, stretching out under the comforter, he pressed his face into his pillow for a moment.

Scrunching his face more with a pout at them calling it boring he tucked set the phone on the little table next to the bed. “Not boring, peaceful.” It had been nice, a place he could go and take a break from his responsibilities if only for a little while. But there was an emphasis on the word had in his mind and that made him a bit nervous. It wouldn’t be like he remembered, he was certain of that just as Ian wasn’t like who he remembered. But he did like this new person so far, they were still kind and still helped him. The rest was too soon to tell, that and the lack of willingness to do something to help their planet. It worried him but he wouldn’t say it, wouldn’t pull this new and different person to a place that they didn’t want to go after just the one time. He just had to see it then it would be alright, it would have to be if Ian didn’t want to go back after that.

“Oh… the wisps…” So they were gone and that explained a bit of why things were the way they were. But maybe they were hiding, maybe things weren’t as bad as they were on his planet. He really had no reference point for it all so far though and he didn’t really want to wander alone too much if he didn’t have someone to back him up. They didn’t power up, not often and he wanted to maybe change their mind but that would take time and he would have to figure out who this new person was as well.

The sound of a group of the other senshi from the surrounding moons sounded good, the fact that more of them were around meant things might not be as bad. Then they mentioned something about knights and he wasn’t exactly sure if he remembered any of those visiting his world.

Settling in a bit more, he pulled the comforter a bit tighter and sunk his face into the pillow a bit as he looked at Ian. “Sleep time?” Listening to them yawn, he yawned softly in response and stretched his legs again. It was nice not being cramped up like he’d been on his world, stuck curled up and asleep in that thorny prison for what he’d been told was a thousand years. The fact there was space to stretch out was wonderful and he’d taken every chance he got to stretch out and take up as much of the soft bed as he could when they let him on it alone but tonight was different and he still kept his distance and kept himself curled up partially to save space.

“Alright, you find it peaceful. I can see how that is possible…” He really could but he also knew he’d get bored there fast. There was only so much he could do there, without risking getting lost, and laying about on a stick and wood planked floor would get boring really fast. It might start out peaceful, as you’d expect, but damn how quickly the lack of anything to do hit. There had to have once been a better way to travel aside from paddling…because how long it took - it was stupid.

“Yeah, no wisps to help. I wind up paddling a boat and getting nowhere and then need to return and try not to get lost. It’s really time consuming and too much work with no reward.” Which made it so hard for him. If there were things to see or do it might not be so bad - but there was nothing. The land didn’t even seem so stable and he didn’t care to risk stepping off onto what he thought was solid land and find it was mud and sink right into the water. He’d risked it once, he could remember that, but he didn’t remember what had come of it. It was all tall grasses and reeds and it made it hard to see around, above, or though when he was seated in a tiny little boat. There was no telling if the ground was solid or anything. It was too dangerous.

“Mmm, yes, sleep is good.” Another yawn and he lay on his stomach, face turned towards the other, and a hand under his pillow as he let his green eyes drift closed.

Sasha did frown a bit at the mention of not wanting to explore and things being too much work, it sounded lazy to him but he’d been used to the hard work he’d put in as the senshi of his planet. Whenever they brought him he would make sure they didn’t get lost and try and see if he could help them find some of the things he remembered.

Watching them fall asleep, he still wasn't tired enough to sleep yet and just stared at the ceiling for a bit and thought about the past. There were so many questions he had and he knew he'd keep working to find some answers. Maybe he'd ask Julienne some more questions about things in the future and go look at his own world. It was lonely there though...

With a shrug, he wiggled out of the hoodie as he got too warm and dropped it to the floor before yawning again. Reaching out with a foot, he touched their leg slightly and then got comfortable and tried going to sleep. It was still a bit awkward but it was nice in a way too. This new yet familiar feeling person was nice in their own way and he would see how things went.
