"I haven't...been up there. I've been avoiding all of this, trying to live a normal life and do well." Because he couldn't let this risk his civilian life - his normal life. He needed a home, a roof over his head, and food in his belly and his bills paid. he couldn't risk it all due to this. And yet he was getting pulled into this, and at this point he was willing to concede to whatever higher power there was at play here. Something had to be putting him into these spots so he had to power up - to accept this all. He was certain of it. How else did all of these thigns seem to be happing all in such a short span of time?
"I'll go with you - to space. I've been a senshi for....eleven years I think...ten or eleven. I'm still new to this though. I've hidden the pen for a long time." He needed help, he knew he would, and he was sort of in a round about way asking her for just that. He knew no one else, aside from the other alien senshi, and now he needed someone.
"You're going to have to help me."

“You…I do understand why you would want to run away from this. It…is hard to have such responsibility. It’s difficult to deal with everything that comes with it. But. I am happy to help you in any way that I can…it. It is important that we work together. As Senshi…especially here. This..this planet has so much chaos it…it’s revolting…and if we don’t stop it…we’ll lose the planet, just as I lost mine…”
Running her hand through her hair she looked at the other Senshi. “Rely on me. I will help you in any way that I can. Together is the only way we can beat this Chaos back…together is the only way of solving issues…and I’m…very pleased to have been able to meet you tonight. I think that it may have been fate.”

Fate...tghat was a word he didn't like. He didn't like thinking things were predetermined, that no matter what someone did things were going to still happen as they did. It made things feel hopeless...like why try and do things when everything would come as it was going to anyway? It made life feel pointless...and he did try and explain that slowly, hoping she'd understand. But he did agree that some sort of magic had likely brought them together tonight, he just wasn't going to use the word fate personally.
Pulling out his phone, the old model, he snapped a picture of her to save her contact information. "I'll need help on this - all of it.I have work in the morning but tomorrow night perhaps..." Because he didn't have any work to bring home tgomorrow night, at least nothing that he foresaw, so he was hopeful to have the night free to do witgh as he pleased...which apparently meant powering up potentially.
"I suppose working together for this - to be super heros...it's a good cause." But he'd need to work on things - to work on himself. Atg least he had her for help though...Kemi.

Kemi nodded and pushed herself to her feet once again, brushing her backside off from sitting on the ground. “Tomorrow night…I…will contact you? Would you…like to exchange civilian phone numbers as well?” She made sure it was safe and powered down into her gifted civilian form and withdrew her phone, handing it over to Pleione for him to enter his information. When it was done, she smiled. “I am known as Sylvie when I am not powered up, but I will text you! I know how to do that, after all! I am growing quite adept with the communications of this planet.”
She couldn’t help but feel lighter. Happier. “I will see you tomorrow, my friend. Be safe until then!”
And with a small wave, she headed down the road, eager and so very hopeful.
