Harika's cheeks flushed even more as she remembered the last time. She supposed that she could be a bit stubborn when it came to working. Harika truly didn't know what it was like to sit still for long, the hybrid simply couldn't do it. "I suppose that's a good plan." She mused after a moment before nodding and letting go of Aurick's hands so that she could lean forward and wrap her arms around his neck. "It'll be alright." Harika whispered, hugging him encouragingly since she knew what fears pregnancy could bring. "I'm more afraid of the wrath of the children. Do you think they'll be alright with a new sibling? Inali can be very defensive of Eyvin as it is, I wonder what they'll do with a new baby in the family.

Instead of answering, Aurick merely gave a murmured ‘mmm’ and wrapped his arms around her waist. Holding her now made it easy to forget the new life she carried inside of her, but in a few months it would be all too apparent. Maybe less, depending on how big the child was or if – spirits above – there were more than one.

“As long as her protectiveness covers all of her siblings we’ll be fine. The moment she starts to choose Eyvin over the other then we’ll have problems.” Which shouldn’t happen so long as the younger sibling didn’t taunt or tease Eyvin, which…could happen, but Aurick didn’t want to think about that. He could easily see one sibling putting Eyvin in a headlock, casually playfighting, and Inali knocking them out.

“You said you hadn’t been to the healer to confirm though, right? What if we finish this bath up, wait until Iona comes in, and then I’ll go with you.”

"Fair enough." Harika enjoyed the moment, holding onto Aurick for support as she pondered this twist for their future. Admittedly, as much as she was surprised by it after years of nothing happening there was a bit of excitement with the news. She had always loved the idea of a larger family and seeing Aurick's had always filled her with warmth, a sense of belonging that she wanted to share with her own children. Harika had no worries that her children would be loved as well. "She's got enough strength and personality to cover more than Eyvin, I believe she'll protect them all. If anything though I just worry about how many fights she might pick doing so." Harika let out a soft sigh, thinking about her daughter's antics as she held onto Aurick.

"If you're sure." Her teal gaze was worried as she pulled back to look at Aurick. "I didn't mean to distract you so much from work, but it would be nice to have company on the way to the healer." Even Harika couldn't lie about that much, as excited as she was there still was a nervous energy about the hybrid about the whole situation.

“Honestly? I think this warrants a distraction.” He wouldn’t be able to be with her every time she dropped by the healer, but the initial visit meant a lot to him. If it was good news then all the more to celebrate and if it wasn’t then Aurick wouldn’t want her to be alone.

“Unfortunately, that just means we really need to get these finished before she shows up. The last time I let Iona wrap up for me everything in the case had to be tossed out.” His cousin had a fair head for finance, but baking…well, it was lucky enough for Aurick that he came from a big family. And was starting his own, by the look of things!

Alright." Harika nodded as she let go and studied the counter. "Then I'll do my best to help wrap up everything. I'm not wobbling about just yet." She teased lightly, picking up an apron and lacing it around her waist so that she wouldn't ruin her dress with the flour that she was about to spread about the kitchen. There was baking to be done and she was determined to see things through...plus it wouldn't hurt to have a distraction for the moment instead of worrying about the future or what the healer would say when they did finally arrive. All Harika could do was focus on the moment, her energy blazing through the bakery as she went about helping Aurick to prepare everything for the day.
