Soon enough they were up and off on their whirlwind adventure. They had left a fat note for the kids to behave while they were away but they were all old enough to take care of themselves and they always took care of each other too which she was happy to see had also been instilled in them.
She fell into the steady rhythym of her mount, a trusted soul, after all, at some point she would be carrying precious cargo if all went well. She hoped they hadn't held off for too long. She was getting older but there were plenty other couples out there that had waited until their age to find each other so she thought they still had a pretty good chance of coming out of this with a new babbin to show off to her family and to enjoy to the fullest extent of their hearts. She looked up at the sky and prayed for their antics to come to the conclusion they sought so ardently.

He folllowed along contentedly behind her. They were having a great time so far. He was glad to have moments like this in life, where nothing was chaos and the air seemed filled with joy so that everytime he inhaled he was filled with optimism. There were few feelings as good in this world.
The sun shone brightly illuminating the path ahead as if it was predestined. He wanted a happy healthy thriving family. The more the better! He wondered if these would be the last kid. Or if there would be more as the years went on. He guessed that decision rested with them in particular Rista herself. It wasn't the easiest thing on the body but she kept herself really fit always and it seemed not to bug her too much. It was the last few months of pregnancy that seemed the most pesky for his wife. "At least it is not too far." He smiled as the trail widened and he was able to walk his beast abrest of hers.

She smiled at him when he caught up. Riding together was one of their alltime favorite things."You know we should pick up those janarim that Ushi and Sae trained for us. They say they have a magic power and I want to know what it is. Maybe we could go get them after this?"
Her mate was intelligent and he used it. It was exciting to think about more mini Umens running around. Their children had done well so far and she was excited to see where they would go with their lives. Hers had started of course in Zena, in an orphanage. She was too young to remember too much about her real parents but her childhood had been full. Her sister and her adoptive father had taken her from the place that held no true love for her and had soon spoiled her rotten. She knew she could go to Nin for anything and indeed that that whole side of the family had their backs. It was a good feeling, especially after what had happened to her niece.

"I hope they dont think that biting someone they dont like is a super power, you can train almost anything toothy to do that." He grinned. "I think that is a fantastic plan my love. We shall head there after camping.
Soon enough they came upon the lands that had been set aside by their extended family for camping and procreating. He was calling it what it was he was sure that only half the time were any of the couples that frequented these woods hunting. He grinned. It was an inside family joke and he loved every bit of the culture that they had made, the traditions.
"Well shall we seek out a campsite and get the er 'camping' underway?" They were both grinning awfully broadly at this point. "I'll settle food and cook fire if you would like to help and set the tent?"

"Of course my love, I'll brush out the critters too and send them off to hunt for themselves...don't scare all the game kids we would like some fresh meat tonight too." She petted her mount heartily on the neck. "Good girl."
They began to search and upon finding the right spot, quiet, sheltered by a medium sized lake. It was perfection. They blasting through set up ate a meal and then proceeded to enjoy the evening. She had had the forethought to bring tea for them and they stayed a few days there, some of her new most fondest memories stemmed from those few days spent under the sun encased in wind and freedom and the wild wild woods that they so loved. They were happy and relaxed by the time they trekked out. They ponied their current mounts all the way home and they were impressed with the beautiful gift. They would have to thank Ushi and Sae later.
