"Well I am certainly in no hurry to get back to civilization. How long do you think it will be before they notice that we ran off?" They were currently in a lull in the season, the calm before the storm but it was the last bit of true free time they would get in a while. The ranch was always busy with babies in spring and each species birthed at different times. Sometimes it was a rough line up. It was wholesome work though and she loved helping her family with bottle babies where needed. Some great breeding lines came out of the ranch and the care that went into them was evident in the quality of stock they produced and also the price, they were gaining popularity after years in the same region producing better and better beasts both bloodline and behavior wise. They all put a lot of effort in heloing out in their special ways no matter how unconventional. Every bit counted during baby season. Perhaps that was part of why she wanted her own. Baby fever seemed to be catching on the farm.

"I'm sure Thal has already figured out what we are up to, I saw a similar gleam in his eyes earlier, no doubt we will have nieces and nephews soon enough, it always seems to come in waves, though it does make it easier to look after them all in a creche when times are busy." He loved close knit families, blood was something enemies couldn't take from you.
"He is such a rascal, he is very well suited to Terr, she is slowly relaxing you know. Though I always did like her spunk. Brave girl." Just like his brave girl and he kissed Saeruin's temple. "Kinda like you." He bumped her hips with his in a teasing gestrue.
"I hope they get your eyes." They blurted out at each other at once and then laughed. He was happy, so happy that he couldn't remember the last time he had been this happy. The world just seemed so bright and good. Hope came in many forms and there was nothing more hopeful than an brand new child, he should know he had enough of them.

"It is surprising to me that you two are not twins. Though Einsol is a good match as well. Ny is nothing like you and neither is Honi." He had a big family and it was fun for her to compare temperaments. Tethys seemed quite similar to Thal where Ushi was a bit more straight edged and militeristic, though he was in fact loosing up some with age.
She was proud of that, proud that he was slowly being able to let go of survival and start to truly thrive, to reassess his values. He was maturing into an even finer man than his younger self had promised and his younger self had been pretty awesome too. She leaned into him. He was as ever her rock. He was the father of her children, her best friend and the very love of her life.
"I can't wait to have more kids with you." She kissed him sweetly. Moments like this were so good and sweet that it was all but hurting her teeth. That being said her heart was absolutely full.

He hugged her tightly to himself, "Me too love." He knew full well that he had found his soul mate and nothing made him happier than to make her happy. This made them both very happy.
"I can't wait to tell the kids if it works." He hoped his daughter would't be too jealous but after all she had a son of her own.
He was close with his eldest daughter, she was a small female version of himself at least in his eyes and likely in many others, she was still her own person but the likeness and attitude and carriage was nearly identical in father and daughter. He adored her too like that sun. He adored all of his kids but Kechiri understood him better than the others, definitley better than his only son. The thought had occured to him that he might get another son, daughters seemed to be easier to manage but there was something about a man and son. He had finally gotten on better terms with Ushiruin it had mostly been miscommunication on his part.

The next morning they went back home to sly looks from the others which they primly ignored. Things had been set in motion and nothing would get in the way of their collective will now. She prayed to the stars every night, sometimes he even joined her. She was still within child bearing years so there should be no reason she was worried.
Sometimes things snuck up on you a bit. She tried to remember what had made her suspect the last few times and looked for the signs.
In the mean time they enjoyed each others company and planned things for the future, no matter the outcome of their antics.
It was always good to have a plan, it made you feel more in control and if they were anything, the pair of them were indeed control freaks. But that made sure that everything was done the right way. Besides their family put up with them so they couldn't be all that bad.
