Though Nalanda was reluctant to believe that things were that easy, it was difficult to look at the sight before them and not think that they were.
If he hadn’t been so nervous about the tree collapsing before then he might have thought it was just his imagination.
The sight before him was nothing like what they’d arrived to, and he was visibly astounded that Qingcheng’s efforts had resulted in such an intense, visible change.
He almost regretted not going back to Nalanda, but there would be time for that another day.
“...You did,” he said breathlessly. “It’s beautiful.”

“No, we.” Qingcheng said softly, leaning over to kiss Nalanda’s cheek. “I didn’t do this alone. I couldn’t have done this alone. We did this. We fixed it. And now? We can go home…and hopefully plan for more visits to both of our Wonders…?”
There was hope in his voice, and he squeezed Nalanda’s hand once again. “Because, I would really like that. This…has really…opened my eyes to what they can be…and I just…I want to see what they really can be…”
But he absolutely didn’t want to do it alone.

Nalanda blinked at the hope and hesitation, as if he could have ever said no to Qingcheng. It didn’t take much to draw a smile to his face.
“I can’t take credit for anything,” he said softly. “I didn’t do anything.”
He’d shown up for moral support, nothing more.
But, it wasn’t difficult. He wanted Qingcheng to succeed. His Wonder was beautiful and deserved the attention.
“But I’d like to come back. To here, and Nalanda. I know there must be more secrets hidden in both of them.”
He’d like to discover them all.

Qingcheng wasn’t going to argue, but he chuckled softly and squeezed Nalanda’s hand. “Good. I would too. It. Would be amazing.”
With one last kiss to the other Knight’s cheek, he closed his eyes and then brought them both back to Destiny City.
“Come on, Let’s head home!”
