Something about the area seemed finished. He could have stayed here and explored more but it felt like they’d reached the end of a very long day. He’d thought of home before but he was committed to reaching the end of their path and–

It didn’t feel like the end of everything, just the end of today.

“I feel tired. And hungry,” he admitted. “We can stay for a bit more. I don’t want to just arrive and run, but…”
