When she turned to face the blooms again he moved a bit close so he could put his arm around her. Ujiri heard her words but he took them as being said to the blooms. It gave him a sense of pride in Elsheba. He really did pick the best partner.
"Hmn.. so we're getting boys and they are totally going to be named after me." His tone said he was joking but he wanted to see her reaction.
In truth he couldn't help but wonder what they would be and what personalities they would have. The mystery of it made it even more thrilling.

(9/10) That joke really helped prove to Elsheba just how much she had changed; at one point, she probably would have blanched at the suggestion of having two sons. Now, she just felt a bubble of laughter leave her throat, as she leaned into her boyfriend's embrace, wiping none too subtly at her eyes, lest she make a fool of herself and cry again.
"Uj and Iri? No - no, Eliri and Ujeba? Oh Goddess, we'll have to think of NAMES--"

He snickered a little bit did give a nod of his head when she mentioned having to think of names. "Yes. I kinda like Uj." He was again joking, mostly to see if Elsheba would give him a look.
The other name he did like though. Eliri. Perhaps if they had a girl he could convince Elsheba of it. Then again it could be one of those situations where a different name comes to mind once you see the little one. "Any family names that we should consider?" Maybe there was a grandmother or something that was a great warrior that she wanted to pass down the name of. He'd be considerate of that.

(10/10) Maybe at any other time, Elsheba would feel at least a little guilty at completely forgetting about the older Alkidike who was escorting them to the tree. But now, the excitement was too contagious, and at the very least the older woman didn't seem too unused to this sort of floaty headed excitement from those she escorted to the Goddess.
Elsheba indeed narrowed her eyes at her boyfriend, but her mouth refused to curl into anything other than a giddy grin. "I don't know -- maybe we should name them after your mothers, just to warm them up to the idea." She retorted playfully, turning once more to gaze with eager impatience at the sweet little blooms.
If she thought she was impatient before, now that they actually were here Elsheba couldn't imagine how they would manage waiting for them to join their family for real!

The thought of naming their blessings after his own mother's caused him to give a shake of his head. "Nah, I'm named after them, that should be enough." In his mind he was trying to come up with names but he kept circling back to Eliri. It was something that would definitely require some thought on his part.
Ujiri moved so that he could wrap his arms around Elsheba's waist. "We really need to talk to my mothers though." And let his siblings know they were gonna have nieces. While he had been male he wasn't so sure he would get a son. A daughter -or two- was something he had prepared for though. He even had a some blankets tucked away in the nursery.
"I'm glad Aisha saw fit to listen to us." He could tell it made Elsheba happy too. That alone made his day.
