[PRP] Gold and Mud - Ouro Meets Binifu

[Lethrossen]

She continued to whine out, until she was sure every ant was off. "Stupid ants!" She stucker her tongue out at them and looked around slowly. "Now what had I been doing? Oh! Hunting!" Why did her memory have to fail her now? She was having such a fun time playing that game! Well, sort of fun.

"Hmm... but what was I hunting?" Her head tilted as she contemplated this.

.. She seemed confused? Taking this oportunity, Ouro launches off the ground like a baby gazelle would if it ran too early, springing off while he has the chance; he'd caught his breath, now he'd use it! His hind legs propel him forward, while the front one help him keep balance, while helping the hind legs on their launches.  

[Lethrossen]

As he sprange forward Binifu yelped and sat down, eyes wide as she watched him, what was Ouro doing here? Oh! She hadn't been hunting!

Laughing she scrambled up again, racing after him. She'd just have to copy the way her ran, wouldn't she? Moma had always told her to watch the way prey ran, and in this game he was like a prey-beast! And she the hunter! She laughed at the connection, straining to go faster.

Ooh, so the head start did work! Not for long though, she was back in the chase. He continued his sprint, but to make the situation more complicated, he kept swiching his style. Sometimes he swapped to close to the ground, sometimes to leaps, zigzags or circules, it wasted more energy, but he had to get her off his tail!.. Or not.

"Eee, you're too hard to get!" She called from behind, slowing down. Her tongue hung from her mouth, ears pressed back. She was going as fast as she could and trying to keep after him, but it was no use, she couldn't catch him!

But he didn't want her to stop? Whining a bit, he looks back as she slows down. But what if he made it easier? He trips, thats it. He trips. A hind paw steps on a front one, and he tumbles forward, ending up on his back. Of course, this kind of fall didn't hurt to much, especially if on purpouse, imagine the poor gazelle's who were thrown from side to side! This was -nothing- but something to slow down.

Bini's eyes widened as he tripped, obviously not realizing it was on purpose! "Ouro!" She yelped and hurried forward once again. She was going so fast that as she got close she seemed to get her own feet tangled together and with a little "gaaa-ooh!" She stumbled forward, collapsing half onto the other and half on the ground with a light whine. "Oh I'm sorry!" She said in a hurrt, trying to catch her breath and scramble up from him.

Ouro gives a tiny squeal as his friend lands on him, but wiggles out from under her, holding back a laugh. "Ouro fine! Bini fine? " He asked offering a tiny tail wag and poking his brown friend with his nose.

Bini laughed too once she knew he was okay, and then nipped at him. "Ah-huh, I'm fine. That game was alright... but you are very fast." Well it was sort of a compliment and sort of a 'i dont think i'll play tag with you anymore' statement. Or maybe she would as long as others were playing to!

Bini's sides heaved in and out as she caught her breath, sitting slowly. "Do you want to play a new game?" her head tilted to the side, tail flicking bak and forth. She wasn't sure how long they'd be playing again, she didn't know when Ouro and she would have to part ways.

Ah, new game? his ears gave a slight proud, slight embaraced flick at her mention of him being very fast, but were erect at the idea of this 'new game'.

"What kinda game? " He asked eagerly with a rapid wag of his tipped tail. "Like, hide and seek? Or... uhh.. " He didn't know many other games, did he?  

[Lethrossen]

Bini laughed lightly and shrugged. "Uuuhm. Maybe hide and seek, if you want. Maybe we could play swamp frogs!" Leap frogs, actually. Bini liked that game, and it wasn't really about winning and losing. "What do you think?"

"Swamp frogs sounds neat! "

Of course, he didn't know how to play it yet, but Bini could certainly teach him, right? It sounded fun..
