"Well we currently don't have any Zanteer but I can bring out the snappers, the janarim and the radaku, we will go with the snaptrotters first as that is a common request and then your lady friend can see the other two species, we are a bit strapped for room and snappers and janarim are big critters eh."
Tahnee smiled sweetly as the man disapeared to go and get the snaptrotters. "Well I am excited, the beast ranch would have a lot more than this poor fellow but it is an awfully long walk." She hummed and waited. Huang would look good with any critter she was sure. "A mount would be good. But so would something snuggly too, pity perzi have no fur or I would be all over that, though apparently they do still keep you warm like a hot water bottle with itty bitty claws."

He nodded his head at the vendor “that sounds good to me” he replied. He was wondering what critters would fit his lifestyle but be a decent size that would be able to be accommodating to the size of his home. He tapped his chin thoughtfully as waited for the salesman to bring out said critters.
He snuck at glance at Tahnee, she would look good with any critter she chose. Though at the moment he was maybe leaning more towards perhaps a laotoa, but he would take a look see at the ones he was bringing out.

The fellow brought out the snaptrotters as promised. Tahnee looked over them all, opened their impressive maws and checked feet and scales. All were in good health and handled touch well. Hmm of the three was there one that called to her specifically. Hmm. The blue male with green eyes looked at her with a spark of intelligence, he was young and very well built. Aye. "The blue male will do for me, what is the price?"
They set to haggling and she got him down to an appropriate amount for the big critter. She was very satisfied with her find. "No need to bring the radaku out then just other snappers and the Zanteer so my friend can look please." She proudly held the reins to her new pet.

He watched Tahnee look over the critters, he was not well versed in that aspect so he wasn’t sure what he needed to look for. He tilted his head slightly with a thoughtful look. “Well, actually nevermind the zanteer; I’m wondering if you have any stock of Laotaos” he said to the merchant. If not they might have to venture to the beast ranch that was ran by Tahnee’s family.

She was brushing down her new pet wasting no tome in starting a bond with him. She did look curiously over at the proprietor as Huang made his request.
“Loatoa? Might have a few in the back,” He took the other two snappers back and reemerged with 3 Loatoa of varying colors. “Take your pick good sir, all are house trained and gentle, two males and a female.” He indicated which ones were each specific gender and stood back to watch his client. Tahnee also watched and her snapper booped her on the arm for more pets. When obliged and wondered which Huang would choose.

Huang’we blinked as the merchant came back out with three loatoas, he tapped his finger on his chin thoughtfully as he looked over each of them in turn. They all looked like they were well taken care of but the one that drew his attention was the female. He squatted down and stuck out his hand for the female laotao to approach him to make sure they were a good match and when she approached him he gently petted her between the ears. He looked up at the a merchant “i will take the female” he told the merchant politely. He looked over at Tahnee to ask her opinion “what do you think Tahnee?”

"I think she likes you and she is super cute, if that is the one you should go for it." It was a cute little furball that looked very petable and it seemed to suit Huang somehow that she couldn't quite put a name to. She patted her snaptrotters neck, very satisfied that they had not needed to hoof it all the way to the ranch to get their new pets, now they could spend more time with them and less walking. Though walking was good the ranch had the longest driveway as it was such a big plot of land. She was glad she lived where she did in a separate place, her Dad usually worked at the ranch though when he wasn't hanging out with Mom.

He beamed as he got Tahnee’s approval he always valued her input about things. He petted the laotao between the ears one last time before standing up again and looking at the merchant “alright! I will take her, thank you very much” he said to the polite merchant and looked down at his new pet now the challenge was coming up with the perfect name for the Laotao, he would need to think about it perhaps while they were exploring the rest of the market a perfect name would come to mind. He hummed thoughtfully and looked at Tahnee “shall we go?” He asked her and looked over at the merchant one last time and nodded a thank you.
