Ashkii couldn't help but notice the look of disbelief on Aldara's face when he talked about relying on nature to survive. "I promise they didn't just dump me or nothin'..." He reassured with a light hearted laugh. "At least, not without an older brother keeping watch. Both of my parents are real outdoors types, who taught each of us kids how to live off the land. Gave us a deep appreciation for the natural world. It's also a bond that we all share. My family, I mean." This seemed to be incredibly important to the green skinned boy.

Not wanting to frighten Aldara any more than he already might have, Ashkii offered a nod of understanding while he listened to her talk. He could understand her perspective of wanting to be some place familiar and safe.

"I can see that," He acknowledged, even if it wasn't his perspective.

"Does your Dad travel a lot, then?" Ashkii found himself getting excited hearing stories about the cuts and scratches from Aldara's father's adventures. He might have asked which wound was the worst, but didn't want to pry into a subject that made the Leaf/Wind Hybrid uncomfortable.

Ashkii found himself in a completely different situation than his traveling companion. "I'm admittedly a little more than eager to get started on my own adventures... I can't wait to meet all of the incredible animals in Tendaji!"
