“I mean you’ve done one already.” Wiggling her fingers as she framed the tattoo on her thigh and laughed. “Still looking pretty awesome if I do say so myself, you did an amaaaaaaazing job yanno uhhh… s**t. Name? Uh I can’t call ya the usual one. Mines Beatrix or just Bea works for me and oh yeah Dullahans are my vibe not just because they’re cool. I’ve got a friend from the other side ya see? Helps me tag team the drunks and senshi so I don’t have to worry much about getting hassled.”
It had been the best part of everything, that reassuring figure that listened and did what she needed it to. After everything, now they could lend her their armor to keep others from harming her and it just made her want to do more to get stronger and see what else they could do to help her.
“Oh, that’s a pretty good idea. I was already trying to figure out things they liked food wise and get like the basic of things down at my place for em. I’ll try and remember that stuff to help them along.” Pulling out her phone, she typed the things down in a memo really quickly to remind herself to pass that stuff on to Melissa the next time they texted back and forth.
“I wouldn’t want them to get stuck like I did. There wasn’t anybody to help me when I joined up, the cat and whoever just ******** right off until Chrys came to help me. Everything’s been such a good vibe since then though and I’m really hoping they can see things that way too. But then again I’ve always been on this side of things so it’s probably a bit different.” Bea was careful to leave things a bit vague, just in case someone decided to try poaching her new friend. It was going to work out and then she’d get more praise from Chrys and maybe that other eternal with the dreads.

“Miyamoto, when I’m like this.” Since Kioshi couldn’t be used like this, someone would find him if they heard that name. His civilian name was unique enough that someone would easily track him, and he didn’t need that, he wasn’t looking to bring someone to his doorstep or his job. “I see, so your magic as well. Mine is based on a female japanese spirit, so I understand your magic a bit.” Though he was certain what his magic did versus hers was very different, but there was still that one similarity.

“It’s good that you're getting some food for them as well, I’m sure they’ll appreciate that and the basic needs.” It also helped that she was taking his advice as well, since it would make the shift in life easier as they’d better find a path to walk as a civilian. It meant they wouldn’t just live down below and spend nearly no time powered down. He was an independent sort so living down there was not something he’d do, he didn’t like living on what the Negaverse provided him because he’d rather live by his own means - his own hard work. He was working to earn enough to get himself a place, so he could have more independence. That would, he felt, help whoever she was looking to bring into the Negaverse.
“If you need a place to store this persons things, whatever they want to bring over to this side, I’ll store it in my apartment if you need more space.”

“Miya…moto, well that’s a mouthful. I’ll remember it though since you’re not just a schmo or some rando I’ll only see once. Also, that sounds pretty chill, a spooky Japanese ghost lady? You’ll have to show me some time and I can show you my friend too.” To be honest she looked for any excuse to use her magic on civilians and order alike.
“I reallly want this to work out for them so I’m trying to get s**t figured out right. I’m not sure how much they have but I’d really appreciate that, my place is really small. s**t, I probably should look for a bigger place.” Pacing as she put her hands in her hair and just messed with it making it even more of a mess than it always was. “Ugh so many things to figure out I should probably start doing that considering I’m pretty much over triple my quota so far not even counting all the starseeds.”

“Icicle woman is the translation for the Japanese name, she’s a yokai if we’re going to be proper about it. But there are so many various spirits and things in Japanese culture it’s a lot to take in.” Even for himself, and he had no time to spend on such things. He knew the main ones, the common ones, and could always look up whatever he might need if he ever needed it for a tattoo. “I only have one spell where she can be seen, the rest of my magic is emotions based.” Which while it seemed weak, even to himself, it still left people vulnerable to anything which may follow his attack. It worked rather well he figured.
Holding up a hand he watched the other, hands in her hair, and looking and sounding a bit of a mess. “Slow down, one thing at a time. You can ask the Negaverse for housing help, perhaps a larger place. Much as it pains me to say…they do offer such help. Then you can help this new potential, as I said, and I’ll hold onto their things as well. The Negaverse pays us now so you should be able to manage bills and keeping a bigger place.” As she no doubt had a normal job as well.
“At least you are taking the time to think of this new person and their needs when they do change sides, most I imagine don’t. They assume it’s easy to just start over from nothing, but it’s far from easy.”

“Oh… that’s pretty cool, there's like this chilliness to my stuff and then my friend is there all the time no matter what magic I bring out. They even speak, though sometimes it’s a language I don’t understand.” It was something at least.
“Wait what? That’s a thing? I… uh live like in a shitty place… in a shitty part of town. I’ve been there since uh… even before joining up. Kind of a cash-only landlord kind of deal but it’s what I can afford at my job and uh… what I get from dudebros’ wallets.” Pulling her hands from her hair she hung her head a bit, she always felt bad about where she lived and it was hitting her that she had to figure something out to fix things and fast. It was one thing if she just floated along and spent more time powered up than not, who’s to say Meissa was the same way and she was going to be helping a whole a** person figure this s**t out when she hadn’t even done it herself.

“Figuring he’s part of Irish culture I’d guess Gaelic is what he’s speaking, unless the fae have their own language. But given they aren’t real I’ll say Gaelic.” Which he didn’t figure she was about to go learning, he wouldn’t either. At least he knew Japanese like the Tsurara-onna…but again not real so it didn’t matter. “She only turns up during one spell, but I’m alright with that. My magic is fine enough without her.”
How did she not know they got paid? Yes, it was new but the message had gone out to everyone. For a moment he considered pinching the bridge of his nose but he did refrain from it. “Yes, they pay us. I believe it’s based on rank and time served, some combination of those two things. You should check your bank account. You should also talk to someone about housing - an apartment.” It wasn’t the best but it was enough and since she was likely to have someone else living with her, someone she brought over from order, she might be able to land a two bedroom apartment which would make things better for the other.
“You should talk to a General King, explain things, I hear one of them likes to bake. Perhaps they would be the best one to talk to.” They sounded the kindest and likely to easiest, and most sympathetic, to talk to about needs and wants
“You should take better care of yourself, you serve the Negaverse and should therefore be well taken care of.” Shaking his head as he spoke calmly, firmly, he kept his eyes focused on her for a moment more before looking away. Passing another drunk person, so many disgusting drunks out tonight, he grabbed what energy he could from them. He had been gathering here and there as they passed people, though it was really getting boring…so many people who all looked and seemed the same .Faces blurred together till no one looked separate and individual.
“Come, let’s see if we can’t finish the night with a hunt.”

That made her shift where she stood, they were real, her creature was real there was no doubt about it. She’d seen them, at least she’d thought so in that saturn knights magic. At least who they used to be from what she’d though but it was only for a moment she she’d touched the spectre in that hallway. That same icy chill that she was used to coming along with her own magic was there that time too. Even if she knew what it sounded like, that was a hill she’d die on.
“Oh… OH ********! Really? I never looked at my balance, I just put cash in when I pay my phone bill. How long has it been going on? I think I got a ping on my tablet but I don’t like check it too often. Like I knew it was a thing but like I also live like cash only?” Did she even know where her bank card was? Making a frustrated noise she paced a bit more until they mentioned a General King. “Oh, Hessonite is who I was going to report to for this since I’m under her branch thing? I uh… also still don’t really do well with guys but you’re cool so like you pass the vibe check.” Waving her hands to dismiss any offense she might have let on with her comment.
“I’m getting along fine, better than I ever was before the Negaverse…” Maybe things were still kind of shitty but she had a place to live and people who actually like told her she was doing a good job and what she did was worth something now. “I’ll figure it out but yeah let’s go find another a*****e so I can get another starseed. I want to make my haul a nice even number before I head abc to figure s**t out. I’ll probably text you over the next week or so if that’s alright? About the stuff I’ve got to figure and also the tattoo thing.”
Either way she had some things to look into and get ready for, at least she didn’t own much that she would have to move if she needed to move in the next week.
