She turned her head to look at him with a calculating eye. “Black and gray are safe colors for someone not willing to take a chance.” She waved a hand in the air as if to shoo the thought away. “No. We might be able to pull from your eye color. A sunny yellow with some pink embroidery.” Now that would look very nice. Although she wasn’t so sure they had something like that already on the shelves. It might need to be custom made.

He thought about the colors of his eyes and gave a cringe. Yellow and pink didn’t look bad together but they weren’t exactly the best colors. Not to mention he wasn’t so sure if that much of both of them would look right with his skin tone. She he dropped his gaze to his arm and tried to visualize it. “I don’t think that would look right either.”

“Won’t know until we see it.” She shrugged. Her shopping experiences were all real time visual things. She had never had to shop inside her mind to try and find something. So what they needed to do was find a shop that would have everything they needed. “We’ll go to a shop and start holding colors up to your face and see what we get.” That was the best way they were going to get it done.

Well that was a better idea for sure. It would allow him to see the colors against his image so he could tell if they were a good fit or not. He had a sneaking suspicion that most of them would be vetoed but it was with the shot. “Then we’ll need to go a street over, there is a cute boutique there.”

As he gave directions she looked over at him with a sly smile and nodded. “A street over it is.” She linked her arm with his and led the way. Excitement poured out of her and for the moment her own errand had been forgotten. Her mind was easily distracted when it came to shopping.
