"That is always the fun part of taking a walk on the beaches early in the morning, the curiosity of what the waves bring to shore is exciting and mysterious," she said skipping a bit ahead of her uncle. She found the best times to take a walk on the beaches were at dawn and dusk since they were the times that they were less busy.
She blinked and looked up at the sky frowning a bit, she was the type of person who did not like being cooped up inside for long periods. If they were she would get bored so quickly and wouldn't know what to do with herself.

"This is very true." He preferred the post tide walks even if the beaches were busy because there were more treasures out and about. He also liked being around his family. They were safe, they were happy that was what mattered. Though as he grew the urge to wander was getting much stronger. He had places he needed to see and stuff to do, new things to learn. He could not stay in the small village and his parents house for forever.
Though he would miss them he would be back. It was alwasy fun to see the ocean peek at them through the trees. Kala as always was drawn to it. Like a constant tether tug.
"Isnt it beautiful Au?" He asked as she was a little ahead of him at this point.

She hummed as she followed her uncle along the beach "Do you ever wonder what life is like outside of Matori?" she asked him out of pure curiosity. She knew her Aunt Ha'ulili was out exploring places outside of Matori because they had been writing back and forth and her Aunt was telling her all about her travels and how she was learning new things. It sounded like in her letters she was enjoying herself.
She paused to think if she wanted to explore or not "I don't know how I feel about exploring around; I like being home and around family it's so much more meaningful and priceless" she said thinking about it as she dug her toes into the sand.

"I do actually, I wonder that a lot, I would like to travel and see a bit more of the world." He tilted his head. "My wanderlust may change if an when I find a mate, but for now I just want to see things, find new critters and experience new cultures and food." He adored food, the weirder the better.
"Ive seen a bit of where our parents come from but there is a lot more even on the continant to explore or places like Yael, I think it is the unknown that appeals to me."
"I know Akea is happy, I don't know exactly how far she traveled from home or if she did at all."
He wanted to go wherever his heart took him, he would feel very free when he decided to travel for a few years and see what there was to see in the rest of tendaji.

She nodded her head to what he said "I suppose that makes sense. I'm not sure I would feel comfortable leaving Mom and dad" She said not that if she did that she wouldn't come back, she always would come back she loved her parents and her sister a lot. She tapped a finger to her chin as she thought.
"Perhaps, I can find a career close to home, but who knows since I don't exactly know what yet, that is a task in itself and I would prefer not to stress over it, as Dad would say," she said. She blinked and tilted her head "maybe next time you see mom you could ask her and find out."
