Hiro's attack with his own metal object seemed to workout rather well for him. The ref had arrived just in time for Cart to fall to the ground -- and it was on him to do his job, beginning the count as per the rules. Hiro wasn't going to let him go past one though as he tried to drill a stomp right into the small of Cart's back, knowing full well he wasn't going to be staying down without a little more encouragement to do so!

Hiro's stomp got him the reaction he'd wanted -- Cartwright started pushing himself up to his feet. The Ethnic Enigma had no desire to fully bend down and try to yank his former partner back up off the ground, so helping Cart up when he was working on it already was just as good. As he reached down to try and assist him, the hope was that he could take contol of his arm and use it to start pulling Cart towards the underground garage, trying to yank and twist it to keep him at bay!

Hiro wasn't expecting Cart's defiance -- that was yet another mistake on his ledger. He was going to try and bring him into the parking lot to have a lot of ease of access to potential anti-Cartwright devices, but that dream would have to wait for now. He was arm dragged and slammed back first into a trunk, causing a handful of papers and a bag of tools to come flying off of it and on top of him. The Ethnic Enigma arched his back and groaned in pain, as his back taking shots was something he'd love to have avoided tonight.

Cartwright, this absolute b*****d, he begins to choke the life out of Hiro by wrapping a cable around his neck and yanking! The ref is disgusted, unable to stop Cart but still admonishing him for even going this far. The Ethnic Enigma claws at the cable and tries to slip his fingers in to provide a little bit of a path way for the air, but it's of no use. He starts to reach out and taps his hands all about the trunk before him, hoping to find anything to grab onto...but it looks like that isn't going to work either. As Hiro feels himself starting to slowly slip away, he enters panic mode and starts to reach up at where the two ends of cable meet leading to Cart's hands...he grabs them tightly and tries to whip his neck down and pull with the arms, hoping to drive Cartwright into the trunk and force him to release the cables!

Hiro ripped away the cable around his neck and rolled away from Cart and the trunks, heaving in breath after breath as he tried to get his head feeling less bleak. The ref begins to call out numbers for the downed Hiro, not able to get up to his feet right away so the ref was able to get to a count of three rather unabashed. It seemed both men were going to need a moment or two or several to recover in this exact moment...what could it mean for the match?

The table was set up by Cart as Hiro was halfway up to his feet, and naturally...he put a hand on said table to help him stand up straight. It was nice of Cartwright to assist him getting up as the ref got tro a count of eight, but the fact was...this table wasn't here just to help him. However, Hiro still stood there, right in arms reach of the Boss, trying to breathe regularly and keep himself steady.

Hiro's head collided with the table via Cartwright's intervention, standing him up straight as he staggered back a few steps and tried to shake his head free of a ringing that had only gotten more persistent from the hit. The Ethnic Enigma began to stumble away from Cartwright towards that same parking lot, but this time not the one in control like he would have wanted to have been...but even in pain, it looks like he'd reach his destination regardless.

Hiro ends up stumbling over into a wall, turning his body as best as he can to see Cartwright coming towards him...which wasn't shocking at all. The boss had stinging words loaded up, but they would only serve as fuel as Hiro took a step forward to try and get into Cart's line of movement as he drew closer -- trying to deliver a sickeningly hard chop to his chest! If successful, he'd try to ram him head first into the wall and help him stay up afterward with eyes set on finally arriving to their metal dungeon of wheels and horsepower!
