Lance continued the stomps, until the official intervened for a second time. He stepped back from Noko, turning to the camera and pointing into the lens.
"Nuke - you'd better be watching!"
The ref was checking Noko while he was still recovering from Lance's assault. He walked back over to his downed opponent, and pushing the ref out of the way, grabbed Noko by the head and attempted to pull him up to a standing position.

Noko could do nothing as Lance dragged his body up to a standing position, powerless to fight back at this point in the match.
Zayliss called out for Noko from the side, but still had to stay in his corner. He reached out fruitlessly, begging Noko to tag him in!

As he dragged Noko up to his feet, Lance locked eyes with Zayliss before attempting a swift kick to the abdomen to set Noko up for a Free Fall!

Zayliss could only watch on as his partner was beaten down here. If he wasn't a fair guy, he would have jumped the rope and intervened.. but, rules are rules.
Noko was kicked hard in the gut and a hand went to the hurt area, as he was ready to be caught with the devastating Free Fall!

The crowd jeered loudly as Lance planted his boot into Noko's abdomen, forcing him forward into position for Lance.
Holding Noko's head and neck under his arm, he raised his free hand throwing the horns, to a chorus of more jeers.
Not breaking eye contact with Zayliss through this entire maneuver, he lifted Noko, going for a Free Fall!

Noko found himself lifted up into the air with some feat of strength.. and then planted down hard with a Free Fall, spiking his head into the mat!!
Zayliss grimaced and winced as he watched his partner take a devastating finishing move .. this just wasn't looking good.

Lance waited a few seconds after planting Noko's face into the mat, revelling in the chorus of boos and jeers that echoed around the arena.
He shot Zayliss another look before rolling Noko over and going for a cover!
"ONE!"
"TWO!"

Zayliss sprung into action, leaping over the top rope and sprinting over to break the count with an elbow drop to the back of Lance!

Lance felt a hard impact in the square of his back as the elbow connected causing him to break the cover, to a relieved cheer from the crowd.
Lance rolled over, getting to one knee and taking stock.of the current situation.

Zayliss cleared had seen enough, as he aimed a stiff kick to the side of Lance's head as he turned!

Lance turned just in time to meet Zayliss' boot, and the impact knocked off his feet causing him to fall backwards onto the mat.
The impact was met with another cheer, the crowd solidly on the side of the Murder Hobos in this match.
King: "That was a nasty shot from Zayliss, Lance's ears must be ringing after that boot to the head!"
JR: "You're not kidding King, after that devastating Free Fall to Noko, that slobberknocker of a kick has knocked the momentum right out of Lance!

Zayliss smirked and went to check on Noko, but the ref ushered him to his corner of the ring. He breathed in deep and reluctantly stepped away, getting back onto the ring apron.
Noko wasn't looking great, but he had been saved a bit of time there. Through bleary eyes he grunted and attempted a slow crawl over towards his partner, arm outstretched and trying to slap his fingers.

Lance sat up, shaking his head after the boot to the head. Looking around, he saw that Zayliss had returned to the apron, and Noko was crawling over toward him to make a tag.
King: "Looks like Noko wants out JR, he's crawling his way over to Zyliss to tag him in!"
JR: "I can't say I blame him King, Lance came out swinging straight out the gate with a punishing assault - Noko is definitely looking worse for wear, let's hope.for his sake he can make it to the ropes and his partner!"
Lance picked himself up, and made his way over to Noko, attempting to grab his opponent's leg and drag him away from the ropes.

Almost as quickly as there was hope, it was taken away. Noko had his leg grabbed and his body dragged..
But he kicked out, aiming to push Lance away!

Seeing Noko's movement as he tried to escape, Lance caught the foot he kicked out with, maneuvering it so the ankle was under his arm.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Doing the same with the other leg, he shifted his weight and twisted his body, setting Noko up to put him into a Hawk Clutch!
