Leaning into the hand, into the fingers in his hair, the blond let his eyes slip closed. "I'll bring a painting next time, I did promise to do so. I'll pick something nice." Something good, something more recent, he'd pick something the other was likely to find pleasing. It would also be something Alexandre was proud of, because why show something he himself wasn't proud of and didn't like.
"I'm sure you'll make it worth my time, guiding you through the city and living here, you make my time here well worth it...each....and...every...time." Brushing his lips to the others arm, and up his arm, between words he finally pushed him back onto the bed and leaned in to kiss him properly.
"If things remain as pleasurable as they have...i will continue to visit often, I'm certain." Though really, even as he spoke, he felt a trembling in his heart. He might not be able to keep to those words...there was something here...something he didn't want to see and feel from the other and yet he was certain it was there. This arangment had changed and it was becoming everything he didn't want - didn't deserve. He'd only mess it up and destroy it all.

It was like whiplash, the promise of something thoughtful and personal but then immediately back to things in terms of the arrangement. It hurt in his chest as they pushed him back onto the bed because he wanted more and that line was still there for him to stay behind. But he couldn't stop going along with it, that small little hope that maybe he could convince them over time to change their mind.
Such fragile little strings he held on to, hoping they wouldn't fray and come apart. He kept his fingers tangled in their hair, his own eyes closing so they wouldn't betray him and show how he felt. "I look forward to it." He'd figure something out, somehow.
