Painted Moose
“And as bride she has plenty of input towards the ceremony.” Acknowledged Yunan, his own gaze brightening at the Matori’s smile. “So I’ll propose it to her and see when we can meet next.” The hybrid twisted in his seat, watching Effi as she both left and returned. It seemed that their time was quickly coming to a close again which was disappointing. Yunan had to behave though and knew that their patience would be rewarding…they simply had to endure this a bit longer.
Finishing his glass of wine, Yuna shifted and moved towards the edge of his seat as if to get up. “I would not want to ruin your practice. Is that my cue to depart?” He asked before tilting his head and glancing between Effi and Nyko, settling on the Matori again after a moment. “Or should I be introduced to these vocalists? If not, then I understand. A performer enjoys certain freedoms and I don’t wish to impose on your work.” If Nyko needed to keep his people out of sight for longer then so be it. Even Yunan wouldn’t blame him for keeping a level of secrecy here.
“If I’m to depart then I would appreciate a proper escort through the back courtyard of your estate first. I saw some interesting plants there that I wanted to inquire about for the ceremony, we may have some brought in for our own decor.” Yunan added, quietly standing up and glancing around. There wasn’t as much staff at the moment and he had noticed that the back courtyards led to a gate which was not as heavily guarded. It would give him a moment to walk around the corner without any breathing down his neck, if anything it would let him breathe down Nyko’s for a moment instead.
